I’ve benefited greatly from this podcast and it’s very clear to help individuals to take care our greatest concern survival, add to that a healthy and functioning health.
Hope to see season 2 as soon as possible.
Dr. Sinclair and his team present a tremendous amount of information regarding aging, its causes mechanisms and approach to changing the rate of aging. They present practical suggestions to approaching a gene now, as well as an insight into many things potentially coming in the near future.
Oh, wonderful podcast series
This podcast, specifically what is shared, and how it is shared, should be on the nightly news! Dr. Sinclair and his colleagues are committed to quite literally changing the human experience on this earth.
Every person with an Internet connection should be listening to this podcast. It’s not only mind-boggling, hopeful information, but also fairly easy to digest and apply today.
I am so grateful that Dr. Sinclair and his team cited launch this podcast. I am praying there is a second season!
As a former VC/PE investor and a recent student of longevity research, I find the podcast worth listening to for multiple times. I do it while walking, exercising and meditating. Can’t wait for season 2. Thank you, David and Matthew
This podcast was so informative. Taking control of your health is an important value for me. I loved the information on what I can do now, but also what is on the horizon. Can’t wait for the new book and season 2 podcast!
I listen while running…training for a 10K at almost 70 yrs old. Not many women my age are competitive and I’d like to keep it that way! Your podcast has lots of tips on how to do just that. I remember listening to Dr. Sinclair on Rich Roll podcast and appreciate the deeper dive this time. Love the back and forth between the two of you, makes it more fun.
Love the podcasts and the practical information and applications. Please continue the podcasts. I’m 61 and really interested in the aging reversal. I’ve been healthy all my life and have what I believe a much younger biological age. Now I’d at the point of like the age reversal nailed down a bit more.
It is so refreshing and encouraging to hear that there are things that can be done to optimize one’s health and longevity!!! The current disease model of medicine is keeping us sick and unfortunately there is a lot of money to be made from sick people. Our government must stop letting big Pharma lobbyists dictate our health care and medical protocols/algorithms. They are in the sick business, not wellness. Why else would they still be pushing only Synthroid for hypothyroidism !! Big Pharma needs sick patients. Without age related diseases such as heart disease, type II diabetes, hypertension, hypothyroidism(yes), menopause, andropause, renal insufficiency and dementia’s Big Pharma would be big broke! We must stop the madness! We were the “strongest” country in the world but Big Pharma and it’s bully sister Big Insurance have reduced the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA to the fattest and one of the most unhealthy.
Excellent series to listen to better understand improving you health and lifespan as well as better understanding the future of medicine. Overall, great series!
Absolutely my favorite podcast on longevity! Typically I will reply an episode several times. In particular due to David’s and co-host Mathew’s synergistic relationship.
They zero in on drugs and supplements that have been reported to combat aspects of aging. They share the latest experimental and clinical data.
I feel like I am taking a Harvard class in Longevity. David Sinclair breaks down complex information in a way that anyone can understand, and implement lifestyle changes that will have a lasting impact!
I would love an episode on management of trauma and “stress,” meaning emotional stress, I.e. relationship stress or chronic worry about work or effect of childhood trauma and this effect on aging and how to manage.
In 2006…. My doctor told me I was borderline diebetic ??.. I walked 100 pounds off…was my wake up call….now years later…I’m around 280-280….anytime I see a different doctor…they look at me and think I’m diabetic…my doctor tells me my numbers are to good..as I ask him from time to time…I enjoy your podcasts…as they are easy to understand and I tell everyone that’s on this path to a healthier them about you two….I still walk and ride a wahoo kickr bike….as my macular degeneration has stopped my outside riding…I’m 74… and going strong…thank you…
Loved the podcast. It was super informative and both of you asked the right questions ofeach other to make it accessible for someone who hasn’t been inside a biology classroom for a decade.
Would love to get a season 2. Some things I was curious about as the series rounded out: an update on all those things mentioned throughout that are “around the corner” or start ups getting spun up now; environmental factors like air quality, etc; more aesthetic stuff like was mentioned, hair rejuvenation, skincare; and some things in the AI world that individuals are doing these days with all the data they are collecting
Hope that you do many more. A deep dive into some of the topics you listed out at the end of the eighth podcast would be great. Your work is informative and inspirational.
The information and tools provided are critical to anyone who wants to be healthy, live longer and increase their quality of life. Very Grateful
I’m already doing the athletic greens, cold showers/swims, sauna, running again at 49 with no pain and exercising 3 days a week.
Up next is Mediterranean diet/vegetarian introduction 🙏❤️
My self and my whole family changed our lifestyle and we cannot wait for more episodes! Would love for you to talk about women’s health and fertility!
Thank you!
Truly excellent and worth listening to twice! Can’t wait for season 2, which will hopefully also include an episode about women’s health (especially menopause-related lifespan issues).
I just chanced upon your podcast and I’m hooked already. I hope you have a season two. I am in my 85th year, and didn’t think I’d live this long. But now that I’m here with a possibility of living yet another five years I would like them to be as pain-free, energy-filled, vital as possible, so I’m being proactive, and gathering as much information, primarily about the effects of the food, we eat, after living much of my life, with carefree abandon, and a certain degree of debauchery. I am still working and intend to as long as I keep my marbles (I’m a psychotherapist).
Informative and actionable. Great to be able to benefit from not only the science, but the excellent way in which the information has been communicated.
Binged in two days , please do season 2.. I’m sure there has been new updates and breakthroughs since the episode of season 1.
Can’t wait for the future…thank you!
Great Podcast. I have studied longevity all my adult life and practiced geriatrics for 40 years and this podcast patiently presented compelling science about how we age, what we can do now to slow the process and what we can look forward to in future technology and scientific discoveries. David Sinclair and Matt LaPlante make a great team and skillfully present fascinating information.
When listening to an episode in my car, I did not want to leave until the episode was over.
David Bernstein, MD
I’ve only listened to the first 4 episodes. Just purchased the book (via Kindle). I learn something each episode. For the last 3-months I intermittently fast (noon to 7 pm). This week, I added 20-minutes of cardio to my yoga practice and 60-minutes of toning, Monday to Friday. I just practice yoga on the weekends.
I worked my way (while exercising) through this podcast and had to repeat many parts to make sure I got it. This was a good balance between a futuristic vision of healthcare and a down to earth challenge to not wait, but explore the possibilities now. I hope I can find the place for comment so I can ask my questions for what I hope will soon be your second series. Please give us more.
Packed with the future of longevity health care as well as tons of practical steps we can take now in daily life to extend our healthy years.
Please bring us season 2! :)
I love that Dr. Sinclair shares evidence-based information and isn’t worried about what is socially acceptable - only the science. He’s also willing to change perspectives as new information emerges vs. being married to specific paradigms. Bravo! I will definitely be sharing this podcast with others.
Great podcast with a review of scientific evidence on aging. I would be very interesting in knowing more about how nutrition/diets influence this process. Looking forward to more episodes.
This is such great information. It has changed the way I think about health and the healthcare system. Thank you for putting this information out there for the average person.
This podcast needs a female cohost. Well renowned researcher but all research has bias, including the research articles covered here. I cannot listen without disgust of the glaring bias. I’d love if you’d report the sample characteristics. Does it include females, if so, what age? Really disappointed because I love Dr. Huberman.
Dr. Sinclair, I enjoyed this podcast so much. I seriously binged it in a week. Please bring us some more episodes. Perhaps on sexual longevity and longevity on a budget.
I started to hear while traveling to office and whenever I am free. Everything was explained in depth and I love it. Thank you so much. HEALTH IS WEALTH.
David Sinclair has helped me understand what works and what doesn’t. The pod cast is easy to listen to while on the go. I’ll keep listening as long as he keeps making them. 😊
