This show is a must for those who want to hear the mouthpieces of Western imperialism spew their warmongering garbage. The hosts are propagandists who fraternize with Ukrainian fascists and other murderous thugs.
I am an American. I listen everyday. I remember speaking with women who survived WWII in occupied France and Poland. Ukraine is now enduring the horrors of that war for all of us in the west. The least I can do is write my senators and congresswoman to encourage support. Thank you for adding David’s voice to the end of the podcast. I remember him everyday also.
This podcast, which I’ve mostly accessed via YouTube, has the most comprehensive coverage of the Ukraine conflict and the American and European responses that I’ve found. With regard to Ukraine, American media are generally Trump administration propaganda machines (FoxNews) or outlets with increasingly sparse and usually milquetoast-y coverage of the war (CNN).
Most importantly, while there is no doubt whose side Dom and Francis are on, their approach is objective and based on an analysis of a broad range of sources—in other words, proper JOURNALISM.

Unfortunately Donald J Trumps is not going to put pressure on Russia unless and until The GOP Senators and their cohorts in the House grow a spine to force Trump to place sanctions on Russia and send additional Military assistance to Ukraine.
It’s a sad state of affairs Ukraine is going to have to hold out with Europe being their only real help, at least until after the Mid Term elections when the Democrats regain control of the Congress, Some help may sent to Ukraine after that takes place in November of 2026.

This is a dark time living in the USA and believing in democracy. Ukraine the Latest helps me hold on for better times. I listened to how recently listeners had complained of the Trump clip in the intro and the hosts argued his voice was necessary as he is (like it or not) a major player today. Sadly, I had to agree, but found it brilliant when they changed his audio clip to one of his claims that the war would be over within 24 hours. It acknowledges he is a major player, but also that he is an ignorant fool. Well done !
Sustained moral compass, quality and truth to power. Francis’ interview with the Hungarian diplomat gave me a very good sense of the kind of mind frame required to be on Russia’s side and it is not a pretty one. Thank you for a respectful interview that allowed me to make up my own mind.

I started listening to Ukraine: The Latest many months ago when I was trying to ferret out the truth about what was really going on in Ukraine. There is so much fake information swirling around but when I landed on this podcast I could immediately tell it was serious and ethical and true even when it was telling about failures and losses but it also gave me hope that the Ukraine people will be supported in their valiant fight for freedom. The world needs for Ukraine to win and this podcast helps us all know the ground truth. Please keep up the great work!
This podcast is so good. I learn so much every time I listen. I'm a teacher in California and I am particularly interested in learning about the over 10,000 children who were abducted from their families in Ukraine. Please cover this as much as you can! I wish there could be a segment on the podcast just like how Dom goes over the military news in the beginning, and then Francis goes over the political news. It would be nice if someone could go over the abducted children news every day. Nobody is talking about it here in the United States. Is there any way we can support organizations or charities that are making a concerted effort to find the children and return them to their families?
After the disastrous Oval Office meeting in February 2025, I realized I had been completely negligent in keeping up on the events of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. I have really latched onto this show and eagerly await each episode release. Lots of detail, great commentary. I hope others in the US have also woken up and want to stay informed and support Ukraine’s independence. Thank you for the level of effort and production with each episode!
This is the broadcast that helps me understand what’s happening in Ukraine most clearly. It’s detailed and full of compassion for the Ukrainian people. It also gives an honest take on the nations of the world in regard to their positions on the war.
Great podcast, I have listened daily since the beginning, but come on, we get it, you don’t like Trump. The attitude towards Americans and Trump is beginning to take away from the quality of the show. That kind of stuff is what “created” Trump in the first place and led to America wanting to say “oh yeah well screw you” to the rest of the world.
If only more Americans would listen to the information provided in this podcast then we could be better prepared to fend off the Russian disinformation infecting our citizens

I’ve been listening since the beginning of the war and have appreciated the coverage. Lately the broadcast has become very anti-Trump even when the facts of the subject at hand are still unknown. Glad to see criticism based on facts but not prejudice.

I’ve been listening to this podcast regularly for 3 years. David, Francis, Dom, Hamish, Joe et al are like family to me now, as I’ve spent more time with them than my actual relatives. I’m still devastated by the loss of David but his creation remains in really good hands. The news reportage is the best there is. The in-depth stories and interviews are so much better than anything else that other outlets provide. I have been listening to Ukraine: The Latest since learning of the death of David Knowles. I now listen everyday from Boston USA. I learn so much from Dom and Francis and their guests. Their delivery is rapid fire and detailed while also being engaging and fascinating. I value their expert commentary and opinions in addition to the straight tell-it-like-is facts. I do regret not knowing about this podcast from the outset of the invasion but am grateful now. Wishing Ukraine and all Ukrainians strength to persevere.
This is currently my favorite podcast. With so much hype, opinion, and downright self-serving or partisan deception passing as news these days, this podcast is a breath of fresh air. While I hate that this conflict exists, I appreciate these daily updates giving me not only news and analysis of the day’s events, but insight into the larger geo political ramifications that are shaping the world beyond Ukraine. This reminds me of the evening news reports of the Vietnam war and other major events back when there were only three network channels and news anchors we trusted. I thought fact-based reporting and source validation were dead. Nice to know some people still know how to do it and respect the craft. Keep up the tremendous work.
