I enjoy this podcast but can’t get past some things. The reactions seem pretty scripted, it’s just like bad acting.
And unfortunately I’m also a bit of a stickler about people speaking correctly when taking on informative roles. This ad they run has her saying “photogenic memory” — so painful. It’s photographic memory. Photogenic means that you are naturally nice looking when photographed. Also, please get an editor. “Surprisibly” is not a word. It’s “surprisingly.” If you’re out there with a broadcast platform you gotta do better. And mortified means embarrassed, not horrified. I could go on but maybe you’ll see this and fix these constant mistakes? Otherwise your subject matter and breakdown is great! Hence the 4 rating.
I know everyone always jokes about how Sarah hates white people but lately she keeps constantly tweeting out that Israel actually killed everyone on October 7th and Hamas did nothing wrong. So maybe it’s not a joke? She just really hates them?

You two are delightfully, magnificent, while being a professional juggernaut, astutely hilarious, and you both have the unmitigated nerve, to have the voices, like that of angels. We are blessed to have your podcast here on this earth, at this time and place. Your dynamic duo alone started my love of podcasts (scam, first of all). Basically, ladies you are absolutely wonderful!!!
Top notch banter between these two very smart, relatable, and snarky co-hosts. Subject matter is ridiculously intriguing and offbeat. Vibe is Vanity Fair expose piece narrated with flair and humor. Love it!
He did steal the idea from his cousin. The cousins sister had a blog that I used to follow. When Slidebelt made its debut he gave a few belts to her to give to her readers. I got one of them for my husband. When mission belts came out she blogged about how the cousin copied Slide belts.
I really enjoy the scam stories and the overall writing. I get tired of how much they hate men and white people. Their negativity and bashing detracts from the podcast and my enjoyment of it.
Hands down one of my favorite podcasts ever (I’m a big fan of This American Life, Hidden Brain, Red Handed, Doctor Death). Incredible production, writing, and hosting. I am chomping at the bit for more
… this is a great podcast. Really. The hosts make a super team, the producers make it sound professional, and it’s entertaining without being disrespectful to crime victims. I just wish there were more episodes, and I’ll probably start all over again at the beginning.
I really love this show. Often times in other podcasts the hosts can be grating and a bit annoying, but these two women are super smart, funny, and witty. And they are Desi girls to boot!! Really fantastic podcast.
They never fail to crack me up. But also really well done interesting stories.
Lately there have been quite a few “encore” episodes. But that’s my only complaint.
I really liked listening to this podcast. Unfortunately Sarah Hagi is starting with the white shaming… I just wanted to listen to some interesting stories to take my mind off my daily commute and stressful job. Update on my review. Still very racist if you are white. Especially if the podcast is about a white male. If there is a different race, the story definitely doesn’t point out the color of their skin, etc
It’s acceptable to generalize and stereotype white people. All white people are horrible and all minorities are victims. These are the messages I take away from this podcast. The truth is these hosts are irresponsible and add fuel to divisiveness.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the show, the hosts, their voices, their perspectives, the humor, the sarcasm, the stories, the commentary! They make you feel like they’re your friends telling you a wild and crazy story :)
I’m 60 and probably not the intended audience but I love this podcast. The combo of the storytelling, sassiness and irreverence of the hosts and overall entertainment is awesome. This is one of my must listen pods.

I love this podcast! I wait with bated breath for every episode! I’ve been listening for years and I re-listen to the episodes too often. I wish the hosts had more podcasts!!
I am sure that like so many people listening to a podcast, it is an escape from all the nonsense of what’s going on in the world. Sure this is a fine podcast IF you don’t mind having political views shoved in your ear. I really tried to give them a chance. If I wanted to hear political views, no matter which side of the political fence, I would listen to a podcast that talks about that and only that! Thanks ladies but really, no thanks.
The show is great, but it’s absolutely insane how many times repeat encore episodes occur. It’s annoying to think a new episode is out and then it’s just another repost. It happens way more than any other podcast I know of

I love this podcast!! I also am chuckling at all the angry white folks.
During the Coachella episode there was a reference to how Julia Roberts character “dunked” on a clerk in a store.
That clerk was very rude to her and treated her like she was nothing based on what she was wearing. She went back to show her that was a huge mistake. A lesson in not judging a book by it’s cover.
I really, really wanted to love this show. After listening to several episodes they constantly took the Lords name in vain and I don’t care to know their political affiliations. You can definitely tell they do not like Christians. Such a waste of what could have been a great podcast.
I have listened to about 10 episodes but caught on quickly that there are a lot of repeat shows. This in itself is vastly annoying but add to that the hosts seem to put in their own two cents about politics and their raging bad opinions that they have about America makes this a no go for me . I do not listen to podcasts to get an opinion but merely to get facts about the topic I’m listening to.
The topics are interesting and the host are talented but they spend too much time giving their political opinions. Also, they spend they spend a ridiculous amount of time bashing America as well as Christianity.
Love the show but way too many “encores”. End the show if no new material but re-broadcasting your older episodes for the 3rd & 4th time is a little annoying… okay 2nd week with the 3rd time you’ve “encored” this very episode. Playing in our faces.
Why do you post encores when the episode already exists you have no schedule and just pump fake new ones from a year ago and you don’t have enough where followers aren’t familiar with the archive I lovedddd this show I’m so bummed
I love every episode these people put out. Super good story telling and funny! They have great chemistry together.
This probably has more to do with the producers, but please stop with the encore episodes!! They are so annoying!! Makes me think there’s a new episode out and then I see it’s just a re-release of a previous episode. Stop it!!!
A couple of white girls talking about famous scammers. Kinda sounds like they’re reading a script. It’s something to listen to but not my first choice. Check out “Swindled” if you have not already, I highly recommend this podcast. He does a way better job of telling the story than these two.

I would like to go out of my way today to say that I am a white person and I personally LOVE how you call out white privilege and unbalanced gender equality. Any other white person calling you racist is obviously uncomfortable with acknowledging their own privilege and that’s sad since no one is asking you to change in any way other than just acknowledging that you have privilege because of your race. Like I always say, GROW UP.
Love you both and re-binging right now. Keep doing you and remember that more people love than don’t and even if they don’t, they still listen! Lol
The chemistry between the hosts is great, and they do a good job covering the cases in the short time allotted. I personally think Sarah is really funny and witty. She always makes me laugh.
Big big fan. I actually avoided listening for a long time because I typically like long form and dislike the “two friends in a room chatting” type podcast. But wow these ladies are funny. And I love their voices. And I love their banter. And their story telling. I felt compelled to write a review when I heard them mention they have so many negative and mean ones. My jaw hit the floor as I honestly find this podcast near faultless. Well, you’ve got one fan here 😂💖
Wonderful, engaging stories that are well written and well researched. Who doesn’t love a good scam??
However, the encore episodes feel cheap. It’s easy to listen to all of the episodes over a short span of time so the encore episodes feel like unnecessary fillers. I would personally rather wait an extra week or two rather than a repeat episode. That’s my only qualm, but it’s a big one 😅
This podcast should stick to exposing scammers. Sad to hear celebration of culture by using a person that hurt so many. Many great people from India. Use their stories instead to honor the culture.
I don’t typically write reviews but seeing all the white folks calling these ladies racist has me cracking up. Talk about tone deaf.
I love these two! They’re funny, their team is obviously full of great writers, and the stories are WILD. Keep crushing it!
