Great insight in your podcast. However, I am perplexed. You are a staunch advocate and warrior for the accused. This melts away when you speak of the accused Donald Trump. So I wonder if this is legal podcast or a political one.
Also off putting are highly disrespectful comments about him as well, like anticipating the day “he drops dead.”

To say Doug is unique is to say almost nothing about him. He is a trail blazing pioneer in federal sentencing mitigation and on the cutting edge of creative lawyers using innovative tools like documentary film making to bring their clients story’s to life and tell them in compelling and persuasive ways. He is an excellent interviewer and has had a cadres of interesting guests each of whom bring a new perspective to this interesting subspecialty of criminal defense law.
This is a great podcast for those interested in real issues within the criminal justice system. I am not talking about the issues of campaign promises from politicians. This is about what happens at the ground level and how a difference can and needs to be made for a person.
There are so many things a defendant cannot control but learning about how to best engage with them and what is important about them as a person is what this podcast is all about.
