Reviews For Theoretical Nonsense: The Big Bang Theory Deep Dive Podcast, No PHD Necessary

I’m grateful for these guys! I was going through some major life transitions in Oct 2022 and turned to TBBT for comfort. I inadvertently found this podcast as well. I’ve been an avid listener for the past year and always enjoy the deep dives and tangents. It’s been great to see how this podcast has grown. Keep it up yall!
Very entertaining and funny! Love the Big Bang Theory! The IQ points are a nice touch!
Loving the podcast! Very entertaining and informative, i learn so much in each episode! Looking forward to the next episode!rr
I’m enjoying every episode. I listen when I’m en route to my work assignments as a travel nurse. The deep dives are fun. I learn things about stuff I didn’t know I wanted to learn. Rob and Ryan are doing a great job! True crime bonus too!
It’s a good podcast, good banter but kinda useless to fact check show. They had experts behind the scene to make sure all the math you see and facts were correct. Even made discoveries on set. Lost me in first episode when he says Stephen King instead of Hawking. If watched the show as much as he claimed that was a very goofy mistake.
Super excited to have found this podcast. Im a huge fan of the show and Rob and Ryan are awesome. Highly recommend!
Rebecca here, a.k.a. brisket girl. i’ve definitely left a five star rating but never a review this is one of my favorite podcasts. I look forward to man every couple of weeks when it comes out I appreciate the deep dives and the attention to detail that Ryan and Rob have every episode. keep up all the hard work boys.
As someone who has seen every episode numerous times, I am getting a fresh perspective while rewatching it again with Rob and Ryan. I especially enjoy the IQ points, which often lead me to books on the subject. Today's find is Classic Candy by Darlene Lacey, thanks to the discussion about movie theater candy. Also, I am not sure of the number score, but I am definitely a Sheldon. Keep up the great work! Pixie
So happy to finally be able to find a good The Big Bang Theory recap podcast! Been looking for one for a long time! The banter between the two hosts is so much fun to listen to!
Big Bang is one of the best shows and so is this podcast. I rewatch Big Bang so many times that the DVD’s a extremely scratched. In late episodes it gets better and a better mix of humor and knowledge
A perfect mix of knowledge and humor! A very enjoyable listen!
This is very refreshing to listen too. I loved watching Big Bang and now I have started watching then listening to hear Rob and Ryan’s perspective.
I do not have a PHD. I do however, have an absolute respect for the Big Bang theory. Rob and Ryan really mail every episode. I seriously LOL to these guys!!!!! Host Ryan really is BANGIN!
I’ve listened to other The Big Bang Theory rewatch podcasts and Rob and Ryan’s is by far the best. Their commentary is perfect and all the deep dives are so interesting. Love it!!!
After being disappointed by other Big Bang Pods I’m glad I gave this one my time. Host Ryan experiancing the show for the first time, alongside multi-view Banger Rob, makes for interesting banter and engaging analysis. The IQ-Point deep dives on scientific and pop culture references is novel and entertaning. I do wish there was less time consuming “throat clearing” before many opinions; I’m here for host perspectives not their hedging against possible listener retort. However, host confidence continues to improve and audio gets better in latter episodes; a followup segment and standardized show intro are something I’m hoping will tighten up future seasons. Rob and Ryan made a fan and imagine I will be sticking with the show till the finale.
Rob and Ryan are a blast to listen to because they play off each other so well. I find their episodes satisfy my curiosity about episode plot points…and I walk away a more knowledgeable person! This podcast combines the best of friendly banter and food for thought.
Finally a podcast that discusses the show! I have watched the Big Bang theory forwards and backwards and backwards and forwards MULTIPLE times! It's my go to when I don't want to figure out what to watch. So look forward to these two guys' take!
