I’ll begin this review by saying I’m a writer on the show, so my review is a bit biased. However, beyond the writing in this show, the podcast is filled to the brim with incredible voice-acting talents. I’m in awe of the crew that came together for this. Not to mention, each episode is brilliantly produced and has unique musical scores.
There are more than enough comedy fiction podcasts out there, but it’s refreshing to work on one that is suitable for all ages. I’d definitely recommend The Dadbod of Destiny for long road trips or morning commutes.
I love being transported to this fascinating and mysterious place, Visteria. Doug and the other cast members are so great at pulling me into the story, it’s a great little escape. The production is superb- the acting, the music… the sound effects. Such fun! So well done. Love it! The suspense is killing me- what is the withering? Highly recommend for all ages.
Entertaining and clever! Voice acting is solid and the production is very good. The special effects add a nice touch, too. Can’t wait to see where the storyline goes!
I’m biased. However, I can say that the professional voice acting from this 37-Member (And expanding) cast is astonishing. The SFX engineering and original music make this podcast something special. I hope you laugh hard and have your heart warmed like mine is each time I listen to an episode.
