Thank you for making this show, Robin and the Teachers at Headspace. This show often grounds me and teaches me practical ways of applying meditation to everyday life.
I wonder about the format of the show: having Robin interview the teachers creates a barrier between the voicemail and listener that might help keep a sense of flow but also block the listeners and callers from important ahah moments. I often wish the caller could respond to the teacher in real time. I also would love the show to invite callers to share their pronouns or only use "they" pronouns unless the caller specifies. That is just my personal preference, of course. Thank you all for your hard work and generous spirits!
The mindfulness teachers offer some great wisdom and the show is expansive in its content. The host chooses some thought-provoking questions. The host distracts from the high quality advice/wisdom offered by the teachers as she continually makes the conversation about herself, her life, her journey every time. She’s a standup comedian. This isn’t her format because she is interested in an audience more than a conversation.
The host weighs in a lot about her personal life and experience in a way that just feels like it occupies a lot of the space in the conversation without necessarily furthering it. Her constantly talking over the teachers is annoying. And rude. Why does this format need a host?
I love this show! Robin brings great levity to the heavier topics, and all the teachers are so compassionate and wise, while also being funny and relatable! The whole experience makes me feel like I’m not alone in my struggles! Thank you so much, Headspace!
I love this podcast and the app. Both are so insightful and full of an array of solutions for various obstacles. The podcast is an excellent supplement to the app. Highly recommend.
I have been contemplating meditation and most recently several people from different areas of my life have recommended mindfulness meditation. Although I know this podcast is not about that per day I started listening as an initial step toward whether or not to make an investment or commitment to a meditation practice. This podcast and the Q&A has been so thoughtful it really has helped me begin to figure out how I might build out this plan. I love the thoughtfulness of all the responses. Thank you 🙏
I really appreciate this podcast! And I’m glad there’s a new episode for year 2023- Thanks guys! Please keep the episodes coming! It’s like having a mentor by your side!
Having answers to questions is just one of the best formats and really brings thing full circle and makes it all feel very personal. So beautiful and looking forward to more episodes!
This is a gem of a podcast. We love Robin—she brings such levity and humor to the meditation space. It’s SUCH good advice and perspectives on things we all go through. Great gym listen!
I love this podcast! Sam is my favorite, I love how relateable she is. This is the real talk I need more of in my life. I'll continue to tune in every episode. Thank you!
I was really looking forward to this podcast. I love Radio Headspace and the Headspace app. My disappointment is only with the host of this podcast. Unfortunately she talks too much about her own experiences and gives her own opinions of when she agrees with the meditation teacher. I’m interested in what the meditation teacher has to offer, not what the host thinks. Does this podcast really need a host? Maybe it would be much better not to have one.
I’ve heard many advice shows but this one for me, nailed it. I just started listening to her Radically Loved Podcast and it’s fantastic! I love her vulnerability and honesty. More Rosie please!
I just listened to the first podcast with Kessonga. I thought the questions interesting and picked up new information from Kessonga. However I found the moderator extremely annoying. She was trying to be funny and a bit too cute. I found that she would explain what the song I had just said which was unnecessary.I would’ve personally preferred if she had just moderated a conversation, ask the questions,And perhaps give some of her own experience, without over talking or post-explaining Kessonga’s answers.I may try to listen to another one. But I found the moderator distracting and making me more hesitant to listen to another one.
I love that this show takes mindfulness and makes it so applicable and so real. It shows that these meditation teachers DO understand the real life problems people go through, and give realistic advice.
I love Headspace and I love Podcasts, so when I saw that HS was launching one I was stoked. And luckily it seems like it was worth the wait. The format works like the most chill, vibe NPR show you can dream of. The host and guest answer calls and questions from users on how to deal with topics like media overload and death/loss. While some of the topics don’t directly relate to me, it’s still nice just hearing new perspectives.
Based on the two episodes available, I have a feeling this will be something I throw on when I just need to relax and hear some wise words.
5/5!
When I need a break from the busy day to day then I will find this podcast and listen to these awesome teachers for a an amazing breather. Love the app, love the podcasts. Thank you.
I love Headspace and have used it for years. I'm so excited there is a podcast out to further expand on all the great topics and hear stories directly. Can't wait to hear what's next!
I am looking forward to the constant that this wonderful group of people and company will be releasing. Personally headspace has helped me understand how accessible meditation can be and I’m so happy that their services are expanding in such a meaningful way!
The Headspace teachers offer such incredible wisdom and valuable insight, now even more personalized to call in questioners. A must listen for anyone who needs a moment of mindful insight.
I’m a huge fan of headspace health, so this podcast couldn’t come at a more perfect time! I’ve been using daily meditations, including some of their specific programs like “healing after a break up”.
Super excited to hear a call in type show!
I can't wait to hear more from Headspace's teachers! Having them answer questions live from Headspace users is so helpful. It's wonderful to see a show lead with mental health issues, this is a rare podcast in a world of so many podcasts about anything...this one makes a real difference in the listeners' lives.
Really enjoy the conversational nature of host Robin Hopkins with the Headspace meditation teachers. The teachers are so incredible and like the practical nature of their advice.
