Reviews For Dinner’s on Me with Jesse Tyler Ferguson

I love Modern Family and have enjoyed Jessie’s interviews.
I know the whole premise of the show is to dine while interviewing but I just can’t do it. It is so distracting and disgusting. Maybe go for drinks instead? Interviews are interesting but I just can’t do it.
I really enjoy the show. I love Jesse’s humor and the conversations he has with his guests. The food sounds amazing, and I don’t mind hearing them order and talk as they enjoy their meals. It gives me an idea of how tasty the cuisine is and provides a variety of eatery options to consider if I’m ever in those areas.
You’re disgusted by the sound of them chewing??? You KNOW the whole premise of the show is that Jesse interviews AT a restaurant…WHILE enjoying a meal! I mean…it’s explained in the very first episode 🙄 Haters go find another podcast to listen to. Probably a boring one. PS…I happen to love this podcast ❤️
Tired, boring and wants to be thee podcast.
So happy I just found out about this podcast now I have so much to catch up on
and talk with their mouth full, this is for you…it’s so disgusting…i wd love to listen to his guests but sorry…makes me want to vomit…
I have absolutely enjoyed listening to this on my way to work. I feel like I’m actually with them and in the conversation when I’m listening. So many fun tidbits here and there, but ultimately have enjoyed being with Jesse and his friends at dinner. A great listen for anyone!
I’m never a fan of Podcast reruns from the past year. It’s just a lazy way of keeping a feed in the subscribers’ screen. Shame on you Jesse. I can get past your gossipy fan boy vibe (oh yeah, we met at t’s party) when you talk on serious subjects like organ transplants (with no link to helpful organizations) End it now before you really look stupid
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PODCAST! Perhaps that’s because good food/great restaurants and celebs are 2 of my fav obsessions… lol BUT Jesse is also a great interviewer. He asks almost all the questions I want to ask! He has a wonderful way of getting the info via “conversation” as opposed to “pushy journalist/interviewer”. And he’s just pure joy! Cannot wait for more new episodes! 🥰

Love the podcast. Have always loved Jesse and his guests are great. If possible, would love the name of the restaurant in the episode description as a reference.
I enjoy listening to Jesse talk to his friends and hearing their stories and anecdotes. Even though these people are all celebrities it makes them more relatable and human to me. I laugh along with them
I love this podcast. Just finished listening to Chelsea Clinton and could have listened much longer. Jesse has a great way with his guests and I enjoy his interview style very much Look forward to many future episodes
I find this fascinating: learning about the restaurants, hearing what people order (and how they treat the service staff, the conversations & the affable personalities. JTF is a charming host!
I am the worlds biggest Steel Magnolias fan and loved hearing about the original cast from Margo! I was able to meet Bobby Harling’s parents in the city where the real Steel Magnolias happened and whose daughter was the real Shelbi. More people need to know this is a true story. Susan Harling Robinson is my true inspiration. Thank you for this episode!
I am a big fan of JTF and he has outdone himself with the most delightful podcast ever. The format of dining with his guests is so inspired. The individuals with whom he shares a meal are all fascinating celebrities. Their encounters are funny, informative, and often quite moving. Each episode is akin to a wonderful therapy session.
I didn’t think I’d like this show. I thought “oh, another celebrity interview podcast.” What do people have left to share? This show is brilliant. I love it. Even how the server or chef walks up and you listen to the exchange. I love nothing more than breaking bread with fun and funny friends, and that is exactly what this show is. I’ve already listened to all of the published episodes and look forward to devouring future ones.
Interesting entertaining interviews, so I’m giving 5 stars because i hate to ding anyone’s ratings over my personal feelings. But the eating and drinking noises are too much my misophonia can’t handle it. I’ve had to turn it off and stop listening more often than not. The concept of a conversation over a meal is great but perhaps better in theory than practice. I’ll revisit this one if they remove the eating lol.
The dinner part of it. Absolutely no need to hear them order food, eat food, listen to the server….etc. Does nothing for the podcast and is sort of annoying.
I’m loving this podcast so far!!! You are doing a super job Jesse!! I would love you to do a follow up episode and have both Emeril and Roy on together! 💕💕
I’m really enjoying this show! I like the authentic way Jesse interviews and it feels more so like you’re just eavesdropping on a conversations amongst celebrity friends. I especially enjoy hearing about the restaurants and what each person orders. Definitely adding all the restaurants to places I need to try!
So uplifting! Everyone has an energy to be at dinner with Jesse. I love everyone’s different personalities and how they shine!
Jesse is a phenomenal storyteller and really knows how to set the tone for each episode. I have watched every episode and I always wait each week for the next!!
Jesse is the best and kindest host- so likeable!!
I love everything about this podcast EXCEPT for them eating and talking into the mics!! Why?!?!
JTF is so natural and wonderful with his guests. I really love the format adding a great restaurant (which i’ve already gone to one of them!) They’ve made me like (or not like) and understand the actors. So easy and enjoyable

Love love love!!!!
I like listening to Jesse and his guests talk, even though it can get a bit pretentious at times, especially with the fancy food. Culinary appropriation (?) and Padma posing for SI but then saying it wasn’t good for her daughter was hypocritical and annoying. Julie Bowen has been the best guest so far because she seemed like a real person and wasn’t trying to sound/act a certain way on tape. I look forward to future episodes.
I love everything about this podcast, from the food to the guests to the open conversations. Jesse is a great host, and the concept is perfect. It’s my new favorite podcast.
I have loved listening to these episodes. I think setting is everything and being in a restaurant as opposed to a podcast studio makes the guests feel more comfortable and willing to open up. I love all the questions in conversation topics that aren’t surface level. Highly recommend!
There’s so many celebrity podcasts out there, and everyone connects with different people differently. Jesse’s podcast is just lovely for me: candid, deep, authentic, funny, and just real. It’s just like talking to my friends :)
This podcast is so enjoyable to listen to (even with the chewing noises)! It feels so authentic and genuine. It’s like you are sitting at the table with them just casually enjoying a meal and getting to know each other. Lovely!
This podcast is truly a gem that stands out amidst the vast sea of audio content.
I started listening to the show because I loved Modern Family but didn’t know anything about Jesse outside of that. I’m very surprised at how much I have enjoyed the content of the conversations, and how Jesse and the guests have all seemed so kind and honest. Jesse is also a very good interviewer! Please keep the show going!

I love getting a different side of everyone on this podcast, there’s difference stories that we don’t get in other podcast. I love hearing them love the food they eat as well , it’s very entertaining.
So good!! Love hearing about the food (makes me jealous) and there has been so many great guests already. Love how casual the conversation is so you get fun stories you wouldn’t hear anywhere else.
This podcast is so smart and funny and down-to-earth, which is no surprise coming from Jesse Tyler Ferguson. I will listen to every episode - even the ones with the guests who aren’t my favorite (e.g. Kristen Bell).
I love this podcast with this awesome foodie (he loves that word 😁) and his guests!! Julie Bowen is hysterical and the combo of food, comedy, real life and podcast = my new fave!
I thought I would love pretending to be at lunch with these big fancy actors and their big fancy food talking about their big fancy lives. But it turns out they’re normal people, who work jobs and raise kids and drive home. Entertaining and eye-opening!
I LOVE this pod! I was worried at first that the eating would be a problem, or podcasting in public but it’s not! The eating is not noticeable in an annoying way and the background noise is nice. I think it’s cool to hear them interact with the waiters and order their meal. I love the informal flow of chatting/interviewing! I look forward to each new episode!!
I love the idea for this show and feel like it’s executed so well. Not only do I get to be a fly on the wall to these intimate convos, but I get a sense of place by feeling in the restaurants with them. Truly a special podcast!
The idea is great! It’s like getting to be a fly on the wall into a dinner conversation that’s happening right next to you. I was a little weary about starting this podcast because it contained eating and I cannot stand hearing people eat! This show does a good job at editing the chewing. Cannot wait to listen to more.
This podcast fills my cup in the best way! Made me laugh and be curious and happy! Listened to each episode twice now and it’s as good as I’m sure the food is from all the mouth sounds 😄!
What a DELIGHT! Perfect show to bring with you on your way to work or even better - while cooking (definitely makes me hungry haha) Jesse is a natural interviewer and I can just hear him smiling in the episodes, these conversations put me in such a good mood and you can tell how comfortable the guests are talking with him. I subscribed bc I just couldn’t wait for more! This is slowly becoming one of my favorite podcasts in my lineup!
Learned about this wonderful podcast via Mayim’s amazing podcast - another must! Jesse is such a lovely, open and inspiring man. Comes across in these interviews.
I wasn’t sure I’d like it because although I appreciate the jobs they do and great shows they make, I’m not a celebrity worshipper. However I love Jesse and found this interesting and great! ❤️❤️
Me when I realize he’s from modern family: 👀👁️👄👁️
He did a really good job on modern family I love his acting skills
