This is one of the best and most in depth podcasts about the Salem witch trials that I have listened to. I would definitely recommend this podcast to anyone interested in the history of the Salem witch trials.
The content is amazing - I’m learning so much about my ancestors’ lives and deaths. The music is an odd choice, however, and seems like a mismatch to the info being delivered. It’s distracting and off-putting.
The info is so interesting, but the background music is more than a little distracting and adds too much background noise - makes it hard to enjoy the podcast.
A very informative and insightful podcast! Makes you realize how much more there is to learn about the Salem Witch Trials. The creator does a wonderful job of unearthing the truths and facts while also providing insight from other sources.
The length of the episodes are perfect. They are long enough to captivate your attention, leaving you wanting more, but not long enough that you feel like you’re sitting in a history class. The music adds a nice layer to the whole theme of the podcast and doesn’t take away from the actual content whatsoever.
This isn’t just another “guy with a podcast”. You can see the time, effort, and attention to detail that is taken with each and every episode.
I look forward to the new releases every two weeks. Keep going!!
I really like the episodes, because they focus one one or two victims of the witch hysteria. The guests add a lot of in-depth information. The music is absolutely fine and offers a bridge between segments. I’m enjoying this podcast very much!🖤
If I could rate this podcast 6 stars I would! The in depth storytelling is excellent and the way the episodes are structured are short but still very informative and interesting, would definitely recommend to anyone with a morning/evening commute. Overall this podcast is a 10/10 and I cannot wait to listen to the next episode!
I love this podcast because it’s short, educational and very thoughtful. We all know some basic facts about this time in history but this podcast dives deeper into certain people and events in a way that is very engaging. Love the music too! Excellent commute listen.
Great idea, but episodes are so short and rarely get into any depth. The music doesn’t bother me like some others have complained. The thing that bothers me is all the Birthright ads. Such a puritanical organization itself, it has caused more harm than good.
I really like where this podcast is going - I have a particular interest in this topic and Rebecca Nurse is my 10th great grandmother.
Content is great however, in the more recent episodes, the dramatic music after 2-3 sentences throughout the episodes is incredibly distracting and making it almost impossible to listen to. I beg you to tell the story and maybe leave the music for the background or between segments? You’re a great story teller - you don’t need so many musical pauses that interrupt your flow!
