Blonde Apologist

Reviews For Blonde Apologist

I just found the Blonde Apologist this week and I cannot even say how grateful I am. With her podcasts and posts I have found an answer to a very specific prayer. She has helped me find peace with where I’m at and inspires me to be and do better. Such a blessing!
I love this podcast because its a modern perspective on actual things happening in the Church. The core of our faith is Jesus Christ and everyone else experiences and the cultural influences are not what’s always true. I love listening to a podcast I just agree with!
Lauren does an amazing job of diving into the nuances of LDS culture while always remaining grounded in the doctrine of the gospel. These conversations are so important right now and it’s refreshing to hear the perspective of a faithful, believing disciple who still recognizes there are problems and areas to improve when it comes to the church’s culture, people, and organization.
Love, love, love this podcast! Every episode is both so engaging and spiritual. Listening to Blond Apologist is always an uplifting and inspiring part of my week!
I refer this podcast to basically everyone I know. Lauren goes through things that I think are very commonly misconstrued or misinterpreted. It has given me so much peace to know (a) I’m not alone and (b) the Savior is aware of me! I also feel so much peace when listening. Specifically peace about topics I typically don’t talk about frequently. I LOVE this and look forward to listening every week!
I found this podcast when I was trying to learn more about Ballerina Farm, but I stuck around for the host. I find her presence soothing and her personal takes and insights into her faith fascinating. Thank for the content, I particularly enjoyed your modesty and the conversation and about changing the cultural narratives.
I’m not one to leave a review ever but this podcast has been a breath of fresh air! The discussion, the topics, all of it is so uplifting and I appreciate the insight and opinions shared. It has opened my eyes to ways I can live the gospel more fully in my life!! Couldn’t recommend more!!!
Conversations like this are what change the world! Keep it up! I also love how Tanner talks about how sensitive he is. We need more of that in this world! Both of your testimonies and perspectives on the gospel are inspiring!
I have never been able to listen to gospel topics very easily. But these fill me with the spirit and help add to my testimony while being interesting. My favorite so far has been the one about garments, it’s always something I’ve struggled with and this helped me so much. Can’t wait to hear more.
I love that Lauren has created a safe environment to ask these huge questions that we are dealing with! Her enthusiasm and her willingness to help and to share her own experiences are going to make such a cultural shift! I seriously recommend this podcast to everyone that I know!
I don’t typically write reviews. I just feel like no one really cares about my opinion. I couldn’t not leave a review though! I love how real each episode is. I love hearing the perspectives from each episode. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Christianity as a whole is under attack. To have a podcast that is raw and real but brings the Spirit is amazing!! Thank you for starting this podcast!
I have loved every episode. So thoughtful, engaging, and uplifting. Lauren and Tanner are so real and lovable and such good thinkers with beautiful testimonies. This has honestly been a balm for my soul. I recommend to everyone.

5/5

You are amazing! My husband and I listened to you latest episode and both cried. Thank you and your husband for sharing your testimony with the world!!
I am a convert to the church and in the last few years have been feeling the uncertainty of the exmo community. I have been praying for Heavenly Father to put positive LDS influences in my life and that’s when I found Lauren. I look forward to each episode and have been inspired to share my story whenever asked! Thank you, for being vulnerable and giving members a safe space.
While listening to the Conversations With My Husband episode, I was so grateful that a young couple like you could teach someone like me who's been married for over 40 years ! I love your genuine and clear insights Lauren I love how you speak of Jesus Christ with such familiarly and respect and I love Tanners tears because I love Tanner Keep up the great work and effort with this podcast - I love it
Lauren is a breath of fresh air to the LDS community. She is like the big sister I’ve never had— talking about the hard topics in a Christ-centered way, while also understanding the realities of modern church culture. This podcast has pushed me to put the entirety of my faith, in my Heavenly Parent’s plan for me. It has inspired me to go back to the temple and keep my covenants. I have never felt more spiritually fulfilled in my life. I wish these episodes could be hours long!
listening to this podcast is genuinely my favorite part of my commute to work. i love lauren and the way she talks about gospel topics with such respect and love, i feel every episode how much she loves the savior and this gospel which completely inspires me. it’s also uplifting to know that i am not the only member who has opinions and views similar to lauren, what an amazing gospel! 💗💗💗
It’s so refreshing to found a podcast that has a perspective I wish all member had. I love how inclusive it is and how much it brings me the spirit as I’m reminded of my covenants! I recommend this podcast to everyone! I look forward to listening every week and I appreciate this podcast so much in my spiritual journey🤍
Jesus did not go along to get along. He loved, however that does NOT mean he accepted actions that go against his teachings. When it comes to Gods most basic principles…literally the very FIRST thing we read in scripture is, God created us in His image.. Genesis 1 … man and women. There is a line to be held by Christians to preserve generations from falling further and further from His truth. It’s not about ONE persons feelings, it’s about preserving TRUTH for the next generation. If THIS, being a foundational bedrock of Gods word is not where Christian draw a line in the name of appeasement, then we as Christians are part of civilizations decline. The same decline we read about over and over in scripture
Something I genuinely look forward to every week! So uplifting and refreshing!! I recommend this podcast to all my friends and family!! :)
I have been looking for a church podcast that talks about things that are often my questions and concerns but I also loveeeeee that I don’t feel like I’m sitting with my grandma. She’s so respectful of the church and really just leans on scripture and prophets to back up her beliefs. Love love love. Best part of my week!
Thank you so much for starting this podcast! I love to listen right when the episode comes out, it gives me time in my week to feel the spirit and to also think about my own testimony. I recommend this to everyone I think would like it. It helps me understand myself more! This was such a blessing for me!
I feel the exact same way about so many topics that Lauren does and it’s refreshing to hear pro-LDS content that doesn’t ignore the bad too! I’m excited for all the episodes.
I was so excited when I heard this podcast was starting. Most content I see about the LDS faith is negative and from the perspective of those who have stepped away. Lauren speaks greatly to a lot of the problematic and hard issues in church culture - which personally has been a big struggle for me at times while navigating my faith. Lauren makes you feel normal and okay for struggling with these things! In every episode she reminds me that the center of our beliefs is our relationship with Christ, not the opinions or perceptions of others. Something I’m working on being better at daily and the podcast is definitely been supporting that effort! Thank you Lauren!!
I have loved every episode! Real talk about the good and ugly about being a member, the policies, and doctrine of the church. Love the open conversations Lauren has!!!
I love this so much! I love that you are bringing up tough topics and normalizing them. I think this will bring a lot of comfort to those in the church and that we are not perfect and we are not alone!
I feel like this is such a good representation of actual members of the church. I’m so glad you started this it’s so needed! Loving these real conversations!
I really enjoyed the first episode. Reminded me of my husband and I when we chat. These are good conversations. Thanks for making this podcast.
I’m only part way through the first episode as I write this, but it has been so thought provoking, especially as a member that grew up in the heart of church culture in Utah County!!! My fav line: “they are going to be looking at me thinking grow up, but I’m going to be looking at the sacrament table thinking about the Savior.” INCREDIBLE perspective truly💓
As someone who was born in the church, but converted as an adult, it is so affirming to hear other people’s conversations surrounding the church. I think a lot of people shy away from sharing their faith, out of the fear that they will be rejected, challenged, or even “canceled”. I followed Lauren on TikTok for her modest/garment friendly videos, and I am so happy to see and listen to more content from her!! 🥰
Lauren is incredible and I know this podcast is going to be so insightful. I really can’t wait.
I can’t wait for this 🩷🩷🩷
