Jesus died on the cross for us. When he was up there there he thought of YOU specifically. It’s time to open up your heart to him. He will welcome YOU. ✝️🌟
Wow. I rarely Bing an entire podcast but I just couldn’t put my phone down! Sebastian Maniscalco was superb and his uncanny resemblance to Ponzi did not go unnoticed. This needs to be a movie to r series! Loved the combination of historical storytelling and actor dramatization. This is a MUST listen podcast! Especially for those of us Italian Americans.
In episode one Joseph Daniels accuses Charles Ponzi of trying to avoid creditors and, later in the same conversation says something to the effect of, "I can't let creditors not pay their debts."
Who, then, is the creditor, Daniels or Ponzi? It's Daniels. The creditor is the one extending credit. Ponzi is a debtor. Daniels can't afford to let debtors get away with not paying.
This should not be difficult language to use correctly when you have writers, historians, editors, and fact-checkers on your staff. When I catch an error like this, it makes me wonder what else the producers are letting slip past them.
Really great production all around. The script, the (entire) cast, Sebastian’s comedic timing, the interviews, the narrator and storytelling. Great job all.
A fascinating and heartbreaking story, one belonging as much to the 2020s as it does the 1920s. Charles Ponzi’s path to lexical and financial immortality is one that I never thought to consider. Just who was the Ponzi behind the Ponzi Scheme? Thankfully, this expertly crafted podcast has given me more than I ever would’ve imagined. To the point where I can’t believe that I hadn’t already done a deep dive into this history because it’s so much in my wheelhouse. With fantastic performances to provide reenactments, impeccable research and storytelling that are apparent in every episode, and great supporting voices from family, academics, and journalists, Easy Money is one of the media surprises of 2025 for me that I’ll be sure to spread the word about every chance I get.
Stumbled across by chance and as a finance guy this was not only very easy to listen too, but very well made and edited. It was somehow entertaining, historical and informative without the bore that some stories and podcasts deliver. Well done!
Curious, why is Gnecco spelled Ginecco? Rose Gnecco was my Mothers Great Aunt. She has loved listening to this podcast and hearing familiar stories come to life once again.
One of the most compelling explorations of securities fraud I’ve come across.
The podcast blends docudrama storytelling, a profile of Charles Ponzi’s motivations, and expert commentary on Ponzi schemes.
What a cool show! I don’t generally listen to fiction shows, but I love how the scenes/performances are folded into this. Can’t wait to finish the series!
Maybe I’m crazy but I cannot find anything telling me when the first episode will even air. Have it followed though so I will know when It comes out. The Podcast itself seems like it will be great and I can’t wait to learn about Charles Ponzi. Ponzarelli. The Ponz. Lol
Looking forward to seeing how people were caught up in the schemes Ponzi created. Need? Greed? Failure to heed warnings? Can’t wait to see what applies.
