Been listening to Joe's podcast since either 07 or 08, right after I got into hunting. Learned quite a bit about hunting through his experiences and tips of the day. Keep up the great shows!
I'm a longtime listener and this podcast was once one of my favorites. Joe would tell stories about hunting and fishing that I could relate to and that would excite me about the outdoors. The show has evolved into the Joe Duckworth political and personal update show. Joe now comes off as a typical angry right-wing talk show host. If I wanted to listen to that I'd tune into Rush, Beck, or O'Reilly. In the most recent show Joe went so far as to say he doesn't want to associate himself with anyone who has different views than his own. That is a real easy way to alienate himself from his listeners and I don't really think it's a good policy for anyone. Beyond that Joe talks about his health problems and very little about hunting. This show was once a really good outdoors show with good topics and interesting guests. I'm not going to listen anymore but might check back someday to see if Joe has gone back to the roots of the show. I do wish Joe the best of luck with his health. I really hope he loses some of his bitter attitude and brings this show back to what it once was.
When the show first began, there was a focus mainly on hunting and fishing. As a new hunter, I really enjoyed these podcasts. As of the past year, this podcast has taken a bad direction - mainly, to promote the agenda of the NRA! I would rather hear about hunting and fishing than hear complaints about our government, false predictions of what will happen as of this year's election, thoughts about banning assault rifles, etc... But what is more upsetting is this: listeners of the podcast were directed to "friend" the creator of this podcast on Facebook to hear updates and ideas about shows. Sounds like a good idea, but then the podcaster recently took it upon himself to point out that he doesn't agree with some of my Facebook posts. I found this very distasteful that he would do this to a long time listener. I commented about it, and he "unfriended" me, including some unkind words. Classy.
Keep up the good work guys
This is the best podcast about hunting and fishing on itunes.
This show has taught me more about the outdoors then any magazine or tv show I have ever seen
Learned a lot from the coyote episode, loved it. Great podcast!
Good podcast. The production is great, the host is knowledgable, and the interviews are great. I only wish that the host hadn't bought into the paranoid delusion that is the NRA adgenda. When Joe starts reading the legal news, I hope you have a fast forward button.
Simply, the best hunting podcast. <-------period

This is possibly the best outdoors podcast of all times! I loved the last episode with Ted Nuget! I can safely say that the words he spoke changed my life! Great job!!!!!
i've been hunting for a few years and i think this podcast so so informative as well as entertaining. Myself and my wife listen to this show everytime we take a trip out east
Joe is great. Knows his stuff. Good podcast for any outdoorsman - nice variety of topics and some valuable insight.

I like this podcast. It is very professional and has some great guests. There is a lot of good insight into gun issues.
I really enjoy listening to this. It's nice to hear someone who is especially passionate about the outdoors. I especially like the fact that the emphasis is placed on introducing this lifestyle to others. Getting your wife, your kids, your relatives, and friends involved in the outdoors is what it is all about. It strenghten ties, and makes memories.
I was just about to unsubscribe until Joe went back to his old podcast format! yeah! Nothing better than just chatting about whatever hunting/fishing stories there are to share and in-the-field tips. Leans a bit too hard towards gunrights every episode (there are other podcasts if I want to listen to that), but other than that it's great! Thank the hunting/fishing Gods there are no longer 50 minutes of advertising! Keep it up, Joe!
Of all the other shows offered out there I can't wait to listen to this one. The host is interesting and honest and the show isn't filled with advertisements promoting specific products. The guests on the show are informative and often represent a respectable product in an honest manner. Very good show!
Love this show! It is my favorite podcast to date. Keep up the great work, eh? This is a quality podcast from an outdoorsman that is down to earth and practical.
I look forward to hearing the HuntCast show every week. I've listened since the beginning and plan on listening until Joe hangs it up or moves on to bigger things. It is refreshing to hear someone talk from the heart about the outdoors.

We need more guys like Joe.
I enjoy Joe Duckworth's HuntCast because of the down home, folksy feel to it. It is not slick like one of the hunting shows on TV but the information it brings you is invaluable. For example, I may never live in an area that has springtime bear hunting over bait but I'll know how to prepare bait stations properly.
I am a new hunter and listened to this podcast before my first hunting trip last fall. I considered it a key part of the start of my training, and used several "tip of the day" ideas on my first trip. I didn't get a deer last season, and I can't wait to go out again next year, partly because of the philosophy I accepted from this show. Great podcast.
This is an extremely informing and entertaining podcast. Mr. Duckworth is a great host. This is the only outdoor podcast i listen to because it offers such entertainment and advice. I ve been listening since he started and it just keeps getting better. The Tip of the day is always helpful and the Oitdoors news bit always tells me stuff not on other news sources. Even as a hunter in Pennsylvania, i feel the information he covers is relevant to me. We could use more shows like his!
I have been listening to these podcasts on my long commute everyday and I Love it. I have been hunting for a few years and I love to hear stories and tips. This podcast gives you both!! I recommend this to any hunter! Thanks Joe, for a wonderful podcast.
Thanks for all the helpful information. This show gets me ready for the season
I like the honesty in these podcasts. You have a guy like any other guy sharing his love and experiences in the outdoors. I don't feel like he's trying to sell me something. If you like the type of chats you may have heard in the neighborhood barber shop around deer season, you've found a similar experience. Good luck Joe. Former Yooper, Alex B.
