I have sought substantive acounts of medical students and residents in training, from the point of view of the individual moving through all the steps. This is the only one I have found to deliver. The host keeps himself and the patients anonymous, which grants him freedom to discuss the situations presented to physicians in training, without holding much back. By the time I discovered this podcast, fifteen episodes were available. I am planning on attending medical school, and had never heard such intimate descriptions of the daily lives of residents. I was hooked, and found myself shaving, taking out the trash, and walking to classes while listening to the show. I finished all of them in about two days. Thanks, DMD, for taking the time.
