On point expository preaching that doesn’t hold back in a world of political correctness and sensitive topics
Spirit-filled, good biblical theology.
I’ve recently began going to hot yoga to try and recoup from an injury and was enjoying the workout! But I never could understand the purpose of yoga. I didn’t want to ask for fear of looking like an idiot... so I would just attend class and do the stretches. I always had a problem calling it a ‘practice’ because to me, it was only a workout. But now that I listened to this INCREDIBLE message, I now understand! My naivety was protecting me from what I did not understand. Thank you for speaking truth to this!
After moving away with my parents in 2010 I couldn't help but still keep in touch with these sermons after 5 years. God bless James River Church.

It's good to know after a really bad day at work I can listen and be at peace...
I work in Afghanistan and I listen to the sermons via podcast. It helps hearing the word when so far from home. When I am home I am current with the rest of the church. God Bless.

Love the church!!
This pod cast is so encouraging. Straight from God's Word! I look forward each new message from John Lindell. Thanks for posting to iTunes.
James River Assembly is changing lives in the area and around the world. Personally, these podcasts make every day better. Daily challenge and encouragement!
I use to live in Springfield but had to move. You will never know how your teaching has blessed me and my family. I Thank God for your podcast!!
John has a heart to share the Gospel in such a way to inspire believers to live like believers and to love a hurting world into the arms of Jesus. We had refused to go to the Wilson's Creek campus but God had another plan. I certainly would like to hear some of the praise and worship on here because that is the only thing that could take it over the top. Thanks John and the entire ministry team at JRA
My husband and I used to attend James River Assembly, and we loved it! Now that my husband is in the military we move around a lot. This podcast is a great way for us to still feel like we are part of the church, be encouraged, and discover what God is doing through James River. We love you guys. Thanks for your awesome ministry.
I am a Realife student and i REALLY wish that they would add some songs that we sing in Realife. I always have them stuck in my head but I can never get them for my ipod. They have very few of the song the the grown up church sings but none of the Realife songs. :^(
my wife and i used to attend jra, and since we've moved out of state we miss it so much there!! we miss the word and the worship. i was on the worship team, and there is nothing else like it.. i miss the worship so much! but now i can keep on listening!! thanks again!
I've been going to JRA for two years and took a new job elsewhere. This podcast really helps me keep connected with the church and God. It continues to be a real blessing for me.
I lived in Branson for two very long years...married to a very dangerous, abusive man. When I filed a restraining order, my husband filed for divorce—putting our 3-year-old son (at the time) in the custody of the court. I fled for my life in October 2007...forced to leave my precious son behind (a mother is arrested for kidnapping when she removes her child from the court's jurisdiction). During the period of the restraining order, I found JRA and it became a safe place to rest and recover from the on-going trauma. Today, when I go visit my son in Branson (the divorce if still pending), I visit JRA at every opportunity...feeling like I have come home in many ways. I absolutely love the way John Lindell teaches and I look forward to every podcast that downloads into iTunes! JRA has been used to bless me abundantly in far more ways than I could begin to list here! THANK YOU!!!
Since leaving James River to accept a job in Anchorage, AK we have not been able to find a church that teaches the Word of God with the heart and conviction JRA does. I snow plow as part of my job and the mornings can be cold and lonely. I listen to the JRA sermons as I plow. They help to start my day off grounded in the Word. Thanks!
