I’ve tried many guided meditations, and a lot from well-known authors, but I always come back to Meditation Oasis. My go-to’s for centering and focusing to prepare for my day are Deep Centering, Rest in Stillness, and Morning Energy. Thank you for this gift to the world!
I have been listening to this podcast for 4 years now. I had been going to a mental health counselor before I found these techniques. She was astounded at my speedy and wholesome improvements. I have incorporated listening to these into my daily routine. I have been suicidal free now for these past 4 years. I have been experiencing Joy and laughter again. Thank you so much ❤️

Idk what it is with you meditation people but why do you all always sound so brain dead , it’s actually a deterrent for me.
I honestly didn't know what to expect when I first tried this. I've been dealing with a lot of stress and anxitey and was looking for an outlet. At first, I thought it was a little silly but as I gave it a shot, Mary Maddux's voice is actually very calming. I found I could use it at work in moments of panic or at home at bed time. What an enjoyable and soothing suprise this Podcast is! When I use it for sleep, I find I wake more reseted and the Mini Breaks for Work or Study and Meditation for Meetings have been such a big benifit at work! I would recommend this to even the most skeptical. It does help! Thank you Mary Maddux! I hope you keep this podcast going! Update - still using. Still loving. One of the meditations for medical trauma that came out during COVID really helped after my first possible contact exposures and at the height of some bad COVID anxiety. It’s been more of a life line to help destress and sleep. I’d give it more stars if I could.
This is the only one I can listen to. Their voice is perfect volume and mood. I usually go for the sleep, anxiety and full body scan ones. I DO wish their was always a little ambient music in the background (instead of sometimes). But that's it 💁🏻‍♂️ thanks Mary! P.s realize I didn't send this before, when I first found it... Months later after it helping me thru the corona virus. I wish there was more this year than ever. Come back!
I really like it, the concept is amazing. I just don’t like the obvious cuts. Along with that, the intro is too loud. Startles me awake again :/
I was initially happy with this, but the 1st episode I meditated to glitched, and the 2nd had some phrases cut and pasted, both of which of course are annoying during guided meditation.
I have purchased all of their apps as well!! Can’t recommend enough! So much great content is available here for free. You can control your preferences in their paid apps better but the free content is PHENOMENAL.

Mary is a treasure
Love this podcast. Mary’s voice is so calming. I looked at the duration of the episodes and thought 15 mins wasn’t long enough, but a few minutes in and I am out cold. Lol. Literally don’t finish an episode. I did the morning meditation today and seriously amazing! I’m so refreshed and awake. Just a great start to the day. However, I think it’s still better for bedtime because it’s so calming! I have tried others and I always come back. It’s just her voice and the sounds and overall tempo, it’s perfect!!

Music is distracting it competes with her voice, annoying because it is loud and monotonous
I have been listening to these for years, and they have helped me in some of my toughest times and longest nights. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I have enjoyed many of the meditations, but the recent one about self-soothing in the pandemic was not soothing at all. She asked the listener to identify emotions and feel them. There was a brief section to speak soothing words to yourself or give yourself soothing touch, but the focus was on feeling the feelings. When feelings are intense, like during or after trauma, self-soothing needs to be the focus. I left this meditation feeling more distressed, not less.


Love the voice, very soothing . I prefer her voice without the music though.

I stumbled upon these meditations 8 years ago and have been a devoted listener ever since. Each mediation has its own theme (ex stress, sleep, gratitude), the length of the meditations is suitable (not too short or long), and Mary’s voice is soothing. My personal favorite meditation is titled relax into sleep - I could probably recite it from memory having listened so many times. I have yet to find any set of meditations, free or paid, that I prefer to the ones in this podcast. Thank you Mary and Richard for helping so many people with your work!

I can’t believe I used to pay for a meditation app... this podcast gets me calm, cool, and collected within minutes. When I’ve had a rough day I can turn it on, get comfy in bed, and it puts me in the most relaxed deep sleep! Thankful for you!!

I use thi podcast frequently to relax ease tension and work with my anxiety. The variation is great and I respond well to the approach to effortlessness. Phenomenal stuff I am grateful for this podcast

Highly recommend the ‘Relax Into Sleep Guided Meditation’ podcast dated Oct 23, 2014. Soothing voice, words and music. It lulls you to sleep quieting the mind. It took a long time to find one this good and now I’ve been listening to it for a long time. Fall asleep and stay asleep.
What do we need to pay you to keep these coming? Because you are the BEST. I am usually knocked out before the meditation is over. These are perfection.
I replay many of these episodes dozens of times as they get me into a relaxed mindset that allows me to sleep when anxious, and calm down after nightmares. Mary Maddux has an ultra soothing voice that seems to express rare, genuine care and concern for the troubled listener. Xoxo

Mary Maddox is often the first voice I hear in the morning and the last voice I hear in the evening. The guided meditations are relevant and allow listeners to the space to explore the inner landscape. I am thankful I found this podcast and hope Mary records additional content.
I first heard about Mary Maddux when my mom started using the Insight Timer app , which had Mary’s meditations on it. My mom told me about it, so I brought it upon my self to listen to yoga nidra and see if it would help me sleep. As you could probably guess, it did. And the first ever meditation I listened to was one of Mary’s. Now, I can never listen to any other guided meditation besides hers—-they have become a literal LIFESTYLE to listen to every night. I am so appreciative of all the effort she has put into her passion of yoga nidra and meditation. If it wasn’t for her, I would have sleepless nights and restless days. Thank you, Mary, for doing what you love (I hope) to benefit the whole community of people who look to you. As you could probably tell, I would definitely recommend Mary.
I’ve tried other podcasts but I always come back to this one. It’s something about the music and the things the host says. Like: “Thoughts may come into your head...that’s okay.” This is exactly what helps me put those thoughts away for the night and rest. Thank you so much!
