I appreciate this podcast so much for the accurate teaching, thank you!
I do find myself fast-forwarding through some of the jokes (sorry Rabbi, love you!) and trying to get to the “meat” of the message.
More importantly, I have skipped a few episodes once I saw that the focus of the entire episode was extolling the virtues of keeping “ethnicities” separate, aka Jews and Gentiles, and saying something like the Lord “loves the separate ethnicities”, which I think is inaccurate and divisive, and also something that is addressed in the “New Testament” letters.
I think there may be a realization that Rabbi David may yet come to about this. Just like he and his gentile wife are “one” in the eyes of the Lord, so the people of the Lord are one, though they come from different “flocks”. Christ’s family tree has many gentiles as well, so I really don’t see the point of trying to create an ethnic division as a faith selling point. Is Christ’s body divided? I think not, I just strongly sense something is off about that message.
Rather, let each one be fully convinced as Paul said - which makes it a personal issue for each believer between them and the valors, rather than dividing believers into ethnic groups.
Other than that, I really enjoy this podcast, thank you! Shalom.
