I love this show. As a comic book collector myself I love hearing other people talk about, not just comic book news, but the act of collecting them! I love Michael's stories of what comics he finds and where he finds them. This is a great show about the hobbie of collecting comic book back issues.
I tried this podcast out and the guy spends the first four minutes mumbling about the quality of his microphone and how he's thinking about buying a new one, then we get another minute and a half of non-content before he actually starts talking about anything resembling the topic of the show. Respect your audience and get to the point, dude.
I recently decided to try a few new podcasts outside my normal listening habits and I have to say I absolutely love the Comic Book Attic by Michael Pindell. If you love back issues as much as I do, I highly recommend this podcast. This is the first podcast that I listened to one episode and it prompted me to download the entire run of episodes and it is in the 80s. I have already listened to about 30 episodes and should be all caught up by next week. One thing I love about this podcast is his journey searching for old comics (20 years or older). He goes to shops, flea markets, and antique shops. He does not just stick to the big two but gets books from every company imaginable whether they are superheroes, western, tv shows, romance or archie. It is a wonderful journey and Michael is even in a band and every now and then you get to hear music.
Just wanted to point out a podcast that I absolutely feel in love with.
In a world of ebay and on line comics this podcast has made the search for comics fun again. It is kinda like when I was a kid and had to go from drug store to drug store trying to find the next issue. It was either this or have to trade comics with a friend that might have that issue. Highly recommended Podcast.

The Geek Brunch Podcast
This is my favorite comic podcast! Michael Pindell is intelligent and sincere. He enjoys sharing his love of comics with the listener. The focus of the show is on older comics which is an approach that I enjoy. He reviews offbeat comics from the golden and silver age and his "Holy Cr*p! Reviews" of nutty (but real) comics are really fun. He has made me excited about comics again after 15 years of being away. Highly recommended.
