What an incredible episode on birdsong! Ancestral female song; patterns in songs; males and females ‘speaking’ different languages; repertoires….syllables…..happy birthday and flying saucers! It was absolutely fascinating! Looking forward to more from Our Changing World and Dr. Claire and guests.

I’m neither steeped in science nor anywhere near NZ, but love hearing the scientists’ stories of their research and discoveries and the relaxed but illuminating commentary. Learning so much and wouldn’t miss it.

What a lovely and refreshing podcast series. Very natural, relaxed, informative and easy to listen to. I will be back for more.

A good science show with a New Zealand perspective.

First, I loooooove the accents. Second, most science podcasts just briefly cover the biggest papers published in the biggest journals like Science and Nature. Our Changing World has nicely produced, intelligent 10 minute interviews with everyday scientists and technicians, doing the ordinary science that isn't usually covered.
