I will say that I don't like stories of vomit or injuries, and not all of the stories they read are funny.
However, all of the stories are entertaining either by the merits of the stories being good stories, or by the way the stories are presented by the hosts.
Part of the fun is listening to James freak out about the gross or injury stories (I can relate to him, because I'm generally reacting the same way) or going on a rant. Usually when he rants, my wife will roll her eyes at how pathetic he may make himself out to be. He may come across as a bit of a wuss, but he's a good dude.
I've had them on my show (I've been on theirs to tell a story) and we laughed together and I had a great time with them. These are two guys you'd probably hang out with and have a good time telling stories with.
