This show is funny. It makes me chuckle to myself in the car. People think I'm crazypants for laughing while I'm driving, but it's just the adventures I'm hearing. Laugh laugh laugh. It's all made up.
It is such a pleasure to hear the return of the Mustache Rangers!! Missed the off-kilter sense and sensibilities they offer! Welcome back, dandy fellows!! Hope you stay for awhile!
…the Mustache Rangers are the real deal…possibly the funniest podcast out there. If not, it's definitely the funniest podcast to ever use the term penny-farthing.
Such great improv. They can start with one subject, smoothly transition to another(s) and somehow finish on the starting subject! They have to be crazy! Never missed a week since their episode with special guest Tekdiff.
Mustache Rangers is a perfect little amuse-bouche of a podcast. Not so long you can't possibly listen to an episode on the way to work, yet small enough that you won't feel like a pig if you listen to 3 on the same trip.
They're like the donut holes of Internet audio, a perfect popable little treat. subscribe.
After a two day mustache ranger binge, The great mustache has filled my loins with pleasure. You know what they say, ain't no one happy if the loins ain't happy. Listen to the show. LISTEN. You will hug yourself with the fire of a thousand suns if you do, guaranteed. Allons y!
won't be enough to keep your rollie fingers curls in place. You'll be laughing too ferociously, and it's probably best to restyle after each episode. The rangers are great, their friendship bleeds through the improv and it really feels like everyone (especially you, the listener) is having a blast. This short and sweet 'cast is best saved up and listened to in marathon sessions. Before you know it, you'll be celebrating Terrence day in earnest.
Listened to the Mustache Rangers. A real blast, I especially like how they keep the Rangers safely occupied in their rocket ship. Watch out for the drones!
What I like about the Mustache Rangers podcast is letting new episodes slowly gather in my listening queue until I have three or four, then I listen to them all at once. The rangers record in this manner, several episodes at a time, which they release over the course of a month. I can never listen to just one at a time--I need to listen to several because I always want more.
If you like improv, particularly improv based heavily in language, you'll like this podcast. The space and mustache theme doesn't hurt either, and if you can ever make their live show in Minneapolis, I recommend it.
Fans of improv will be aware of the drawbacks of the genre, best exemplified in the episode from 4/11/11. It's a rough combination of brilliant, terrible and weird. You've been warned, and you'll be warned again should you start listening to the audio. Godspeed if you do, and don't forget your bottle of Doc Johnson's Old Tyme Elixer. You'll need it.
I've been listening from the very beginning when Yahoo! chose the Mustache Rangers as site of the day. Such a good flow and great timing. I love these guys!
Its like your favorite tv show that you watch every week and can't wait for the newest episode to come out. These guys are brilliant, their live shows are just as good, however you can experience their work is good. My favorite is still the Computer though, theres some brilliant episodes that prominently feature Computer, but you'll have to find those for yourelves ;)
The Mustache Rangers do a good podcast. They definitely have moments of brilliance where every so often, and I've never heard an episode that I thought was bad. At worst an episode will be not-amazing. They also put on quite a great live show, I must say.
This is a great podcast, whether I'm on a long car ride or sitting at my desk working, or even with friends! Mustache Rangers never fail to make me smile.
This is not another podcast where two guys sit and talk about random crap. It's a podcast where two guys sit and talk about random SPACE crap! Space forks! Space ice cream! Space dog girls who wear too much makeup!
Seriously funny improv from two guys who've been perfecting their characters for years.
Episodes are short, so give them a try.
The exciting adventures of Commander-Major Alastair Q. Bastidious and his loyal companion, Ruddiger G. Fooneybaum, as they lay claim to space for the American Way! Consistently as funny as that implies.
My favorite podcast ever it's just........ amazing. I reccomend it to any ecept young kids...... it's a little much for them. I really want some of that Doc Johnson elixer....... NOW IN NEW FLAVORS!!!!!!! Sponser of Mustashe Rangers!!! One spoonful and your good , two spoonfuls and your fine, just fine.
The Mustache Rangers constantly delight with "slow-burn" absurdist humor. If you like Monty Python or ice cream, then you might like The Mustache Rangers.
Their escapades across space, killing aliens, often become the back drop for profound questions about the nature of being, and the semantics of identity.
I have listened to every episode at least three times, and each time their power and resonance increases.
Whether you've just discovered the Mustache Rangers through their podcast or have been a fan of their stage show for years like me, you'll find a lot to love in every episode listed here. McKeown and Anderson have a ridiculous level of comedy chemistry together. There's something about the way they combine over-the-top vintage sci-fi ideas, word play and devilish snarkiness that makes me laugh out loud every time I listen. If you like improv, Douglas Adams, MST3K or mustaches, The Mustache Rangers podcast is a must hear.
Excellent. The Mustache Rangers podcast is just as amazing as seeing their live show, which is really saying something. A good recommendation for anybody that likes awesome stuff.
The Mustache Rangers make Mondays worth living. I can't believe you're reading this review and not listening to one of their dozens and hundreds and tens of episodes. If you haven't yet listened, you have sooooooooooo much catching up to do. Please get to it. Improvised brilliance, every week. Thank you, The Mustache Rangers.
I've been a subscriber since the early days of the Rangers and over a year later, I'm still hooked. If you're itching for a good laugh, look no further. I really can't say enough about this show. Enjoy! I know you will.
