Reviews For Henderson Blvd church of Christ

The sermon about Jonah was very difficult to follow at times because nobody who spoke in the audience was properly amplified. We could hear only a couple of the audience members, but just barely. And, the speaker DID NOT repeat the questions he responded to, so this was a rather hard lesson to follow. Please think about the listener’s experience if you’re going to ask a lot of questions. Thank you.
Everything I have listened to is backed up by scripture. That’s a rarity in “Christian” material these days. As a teacher myself, I have been able to rework and use these sermons with confidence and they have been a blessing for me on an individual level too.
I have to say that I am particularly thankful for Pastor Walker’s Preach the Bloody Gospel series. I found the first sermon in that series after reading about Nadab and Abihu in Leviticus. I went online looking for something that would help me understand the situation better. Pastor Walker’s sermon on that chapter provided important context and explanation that helped me to understand why God gave the punishment he did. I appreciate Pastor Walker’s willingness to handle the really tough topics that may seem unfair by human standards. Please continue the series! Thank you and may God bless you for your sermons!
My only gripe is that I have to turn up the volume on whatever device it is I’m listening on. Only for this podcast
Bible truths plainly spoken by wonderful speakers!
Thank you so much for putting these sermons out there for us to access! What a HUGE blessing! Ralph has such an amazing gift to be able to articulate the Word clearly and relate such powerful truths in a meaningful way. Thank you again for all that you do to make this available to all of us!
Our radios, computers, televisions, and other media are saturated with the filth of this world. This podcast is a welcomed beacon of light in an otherwise dark world. I thoroughly enjoy these sermons and studies. Thank you. James 1:21-22 - 21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
These lessons have been a source of encouragement and enlightenment for me and have urged me to grow spiritually. What a great opportunity to learn from the study of others at our own convenience.
Great messages from the word of God that will help you in your walk with God. I enjoy listening to their teachings each week.
I just wanted you to know that I am thankful for the material your congregation puts online and on your podcast. I listen to a number of lessons each week. I love your summer Wednesday night studies! Thanks for doing that work. It has helped me more than you could know. Living in Bergen, Norway I do not get to the opportunity to receive such biblical teaching. I just wanted to let you know that your work has lifted up the heart of a brother. Thanks for your interest in spiritual things. Keep it up.
I am personally and deeply blessed every week as I listen to the lasted Podcast. I used to live in FL and get to hear the great sermons at Henderson Blvd. Now I live in Texas and am so grateful to the Lord for the technology that allows me to hear the sermons I have missed for the last 8 years. I value the deep insights and clear presention of God's Words and most importantly it builds my faith and relationship with our Lord. Thank you to the elders for your leadership in developing this way for me to be so blessed all the way out here in Texas. I love YA'LL!! Julie Power
