The Parc Fermé F1 Podcast

Reviews For The Parc Fermé F1 Podcast

Love the down to earth, casual, friendly and fun nature of this podcast. You get unique depth of insight from long time F1 enthusiasts and race driver / team manager, with opinions and perspectives you don’t get elsewhere.. plus none of the pretentious European/British vibes of 99% of all other F1 media out there... love how you keep things objective and unbiased - there’s a world of difference on how these guys talk about Perez for example.. while European media always has that little drop of prejudice that’s just hard to swallow for a South American that grew up watching Senna, Barrichello, Massa, etc… Keep up the great work!
The ORPHAN??? What in the world was THAT about? Usually this is a GREAT Podcast , but this Orphan ep is ???
Truly bad and racist.
Please, please stop having Charles scream in my ears. I want to keep listening, but I don’t know if I can continue.
Todd and Grace have great chemistry. They do a great job of discussing F1 news and topics, with a good mix of technical talk and humor, and even some MotoGP talk mixed in. Great show!
Awesome podcast
Grace adds too many woke comments unnecessarily. Todd is very demeaning to the new DTS fans so if you are new to F1 fandom by way of DTS, this podcast isn’t for you. Paul adds some good insight due to his racing background but Grace and Todd make it hard to listen to listen.
I have been listening to this podcast for many years Paul, Todd, and Grace are very knowledgeable. I have been following F1 since 1966, and this is a welcome break from the Brit Lewis fanboy sites, pretty unbiased, and has enough humor to keep you entertained. Give it a try!
Time to freshen this format up. With so many new F1 podcasts up and running the team needs to come up with new insights, angles and sound effects. The team is likable but this podcast definitely seems like a project that gets pulled out of the closet, looked at and not given much focus or personal investment. The only constant in life is change. Time to make some changes and updates.
Todd is the ultimate “get off my lawn” old man that is grumpy about changes. He’s that guy at work that will moan about any change even if it benefits him. Despite saying he wants the DTS fans in the sport he HATES it. Enjoyed listening to this podcast for years but now it’s all recycled material. Grace is awesome!!
I agree that having a flood of uninformed “fans” suddenly showing surface level interest in a sport you love could be annoying but the constant coloring of everything as “well we veterans know better” is really tired and frankly lazy. Discussion of sexual harassment and linking that to new fans is misguided and quite wrong. One could argue that the increased popularity led to more women in the stands which was new to “veterans” and brought out previously unseen behavior. Also he happy that you have more listeners because of DTS, which is actually a decent show. And I’m someone you would call a “veteran fan.”
I have listened since 2010 and this is a great F1 podcast with a bit more objective than most of the British based podcasts. Keep up the great work!
Lewis sycophants and Paul speaks as if he’s Senna. They confuse and sometimes misrepresent facts of the race. Todd is a complete tool. If it’s confusion try to rewatch the race before the podcast. Really weak! Endless excuses for Hamilton.

What I don’t hear anyone saying merc didn’t put because under the rules the race should have ended under yellow could you imagine if merc pitted max stayed out and the rules were followed to the letter of the law what everyone would be saying the race should have been red flagged with a standing start and a 5 lap sprint no fans or teams would be crying the best man would have won and it would have been great now maxs championship is tainted and you lost fans that were new to the sport!!!! Iam not even a Lewis fan and this drives me nuts!
I listened to an episode a year ago and the hosts were obsessed w/ attacking Hamilton. Accidentally, listened to an episode last week and.. ..still attacking Hamilton. Hmm
I quit listening to this pod a couple years ago but had the desire to hear the opinions on the Saudi GP and wow, I am not surprised but still disappointed. Todd’s “just don’t go” attitude is narrow minded at best. He then goes on to once again give Max the benefit of the doubt on his racecraft, which honestly is just desperation at this point. The driver with the lead and nothing to lose, dive bombing again and again. Let’s not forget he was once dubbed Crashtappen which is a bad nickname but a deserved one, only stopped being used because every other driver avoids the incidents. Most say he’s “aggressive”. I find that generous. Todd says the Merc is the faster car now, you know with the spicy engine was still down three tenths to Max’s ultimate Q3 lap, so is it faster? But of course not surprised that the guy who would go on and on about the baked in engine advantage Mercedes has for literal years. I’ll apologize for them getting it right from the jump. Paul, you’re an innocent by stander here. Oh yes, Todd mentions that if Max had a mechanical failure and was slowing on the straight Lewis would have passed. Wouldn’t a mechanical failure mean you pull off the racing line? I digress, at this point these are nit picks. I won’t even consider your opinion on whether or not Max will choose to Schumacher his way to his first world title. I’m sure you’ll give him the benefit of the doubt once again. Let’s be real here, Max lost this title many races ago. His immaturity and that of his teams has lost him the ease of scoring his first title. Luckily for him he’s ahead on wins and has nothing to lose from a clash with his rival. Divebomb incoming. No worries Todd, I’ll leave you be.
It’s not VerSTOPPIN… it’s VerSTAPPEN for God’s sake. And BOWtus?? Come on, man. Are you doing this on purpose?
I love Charles the international But I slagged him without mercy the other day for a mistake he did not make. It was completely my stupidity not his. And here I beg his pardon! He correctly said that Mercedes selection of tires made their win possible. I like an idiot confounded his discussion of their use of the tires they had over the weekend with the original collection of tires given them by Pirelli. It’s appropriate I end up making myself look the fool. Charles deserves the grace of being spared any recrimination for even any number of mistakes (if he ever makes them) in gratitude for all the insightful comments he has made on this podcast.
I swear the host pronounces the names wrong on purpose just to irritate me

“People are tired of our food talk” “No we’re not!” Yes, we are. Never thought I’d find a worse F1 podcast than ShiftF1, but apple you’ve done it again! Verbal meme Jean Ralphio yelling, “the woooooorst”!
Nobody else has discussed the merits/perils of Max’s “pass when you get there” philosophy, in this case as it applies to Bahrain GP Turn 4.
Audio quality has gone downhill, they try too hard to be funny. Also, 8 minutes in the last episode before we even heard racing talk?
Fun, interesting, smart and kind.
Todd, Grace, and Paul are all personable, knowledgeable, and passionate fans of the sport. They’ve become a welcomed and weekly group of friends through this troubling year. Goofy soundboards, sincere political and ethical discussions around the sport, and incisive race reviews. Love you guys.
I’ve been listening to this podcast for years and my favorites are the ones with Grace. The banter between Grace and Todd is so entertaining and even informative. Don’t get me wrong Paul is very knowledgeable but I enjoy the shows with Grace.
If I didn’t have a life beyond podcasts I’d go back and verify, but I think Grace said “ya know” exactly 700 times on your 700th podcast! I think I’m going to have to make a note to skip show number 800.
Love every episode!
Not only do I love the banter of these three but Todd’s TPF Stories are both insightful and interesting.
Was not for me. The hosts are trying way too hard to be funny. It sounds like amateur F1 stand up. Grace’s query of “right?” after every comment is also very annoying. I did enjoy the clever sound bites however.
I enjoy this podcast every week whether it's a race review after an exciting weeked or in the middle of the off season. Todd, Grace and The International are like my F1 friends I don't have. I even enjoy the off topic stuff and the regular drops and jokes always make me smile.
Typically American. Over the top and snipish. I remember meeting these folks in Austin one year where they interviewed Derek & Conner Daily. I was all very interesting and well done. Somehow, they’ve gone off the rails with the podcast.
The host tries too hard to be entertaining and is also ignorant of sim racing.
I have enjoyed listening to this show for the past 6 years or so. Sometimes I would like less focus on pointing out when the presenter was right. This happens when some of the audience says one thing and the presenter says another. Please keep in mind that many of us do agree and just don't say so. Hearing "I told you so" seems less important than focusing on the present. For example, many of us knew the F1 high-bread engines would be bad for the sport... no need to point out that what you said in 2014 was right. We know. Thanks and appreciate the show.
Best F1 podcast out there!
The hosts are obviously very well informed and do great race reviews but I wish they would get rid of all the corny sound bits and musical interludes. It makes it seem like a bad version of cartalk.

I have been listening to this podcast from episode 1. No other F1 podcast gives so much info into a fun package. We have a lady F1 fan that knows her stuff. I never get tired of listening to this great podcast. Give it a listen and you will be hooked.
I’ve only begun listening to TPF since August last year, and I have been hooked! The TPF provides an excellent overview of F1 and many other related topics. Highly recommend!
If your looking for an entertaining and informative F1 podcast, than look no further. I started watching F1 this season and after a season of listening to the same thing on f different podcast I cut some, but TPF was one I knew I was keeping. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!

If this helps bring U.S. potential fans into the fold, great. But banality reigns from the host, and his co-hosts are strapped into an older, squeaking pickup truck for the journey. I continue to listen, mostly curious how this pod has lasted. But if my take continues, I'm out.
Really love this podcast. Actually feels like I’m discuss F1 with a friend than listening to a typical podcast !!
Big fan of the show. I really enjoy listening to the Track Talks prior to the race weekend.
Still listenning to you all with the same passion after so many years!
Great show to end the day on Mondays listening to the latest on F1.
The best formula 1 podcast. Love it all.
Grab a pint or glass and enjoy the expert and down to Earth F1 (and sometimes MotoGP) conversation with Grace, Paul, and Todd every week.
I’ve had the good fortune of finding this podcast several years ago. I was instantly hooked! Todd’s knowledge and passion for the sport of F1 is infectious. The prep and quality of the show is phenomenal. You also have a wonderful balance of this and a more casual nature to the conversations that make the show almost NEVER boring. I’ve come to feel very nicely connected to Todd, Paul, & the redoubtable Grace. They are a delight to listen to, and always very informative. I only wish they had a call-in show! Todd, I'm glad you stuck with it after the name change. I look forward every week to the new episode. Love you guys!

gets better every week
I've been a long time listener, but for one reason or another never got around to leaving a rating. This is the best F1 pod I've found. Todd (the host) keeps it fun and entertaining with banter and Paul brings real racing perspective to the team. Check it out! What do you really have to loose?

Awesome podcast for seasoned F1 fans as well as those new to the sport. Great way to keep up with F1 news all year round.
