Nice voice, good reading, cute story too. This is perfectly acceptable for minors and I agree with the last comment, could have been a little bit more descriptive in the good bits! ;-)
I truly enjoyed this--my first romance novel. It was a bit too PG for my taste and there were quite a few instances where some spicier scenes would have played out well. That is my only critque as it was superbly told. I'll be looking to this author for more.
The book started out enjoyable in the beginning. However, I was displeased to find that this book is over the top Mary Sue writing. Highly predictable, far too "convienient" circumstances, and an eye rolling overly feminine protagonist. If you are looking for intelligent story, this isn't for you. If you enjoy terribly girly scenarios with Ken doll men and runaround conversations that make you rub at your forehead, be my guest and endure. The writer's voice is nice to listen to, however, and the story does make the time go by.
Even though the other says that it may be unsuitable for minors I personally found nothing unsuitable. She mentions that they "made love" and that is all, she simply says the words nothing more. Which personally I find that quite okay. It was a wonderful audiobook and I'd love it if she would add more to the story.
I was so excited when I heard in an interview with Pip Ballentine and Tee Morris that there was a romance novel podcast! I chased it down right away and have not been disappointed. This is a fun trip around the world that I recommend. If your like me you will quickly develop a soft spot for the characters. Can't wait for the rest!
I didn't know that I could get so intranced by a book that I was listening to. Tiara's accent helps create a visualization of Emerald... I can't wait to complete the book. Keep up the wonderful imagery... And hurry I don't know how long I can wait for the next chapter.
