Pastor Mike's teaching is awesome! Extreme solid biblical teaching. Love Pastor Mike and love Compass Bible Church! I recommend listening to all of his sermons!
I was a Catholic until I started listening to Pastor Mike's sermons. It completely changed the person that I was. I like how pastor Mike shows us the whole person of God. I do believe He is a jealous God; a God that rightly punishes the wicked; a God that correct us, because He loves us. I know is hard for some people to accept that, but that's why this world is upside down. Most of the people rather believe that God is all love and forgiveness only, so they can keep on doing wrong. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Prov. 1:7)
I find Mike Fabarez's message very challenging as a Christian who truly believes the Bible to be the Word of God. While there is much in this world that indicates Satan's active participation in our eventual distruction, I still believe it's important to follow God's Word through these challenging times. One of the commandments in the Bible is "Thou shalt not lie." By making statements that just aren't factually true, regardless of the greater purpose has always and continues to be a lie in my book. For the greater of good of reaching others with God's message, lying still doesn't seem okay. I believe it's always necessary to take the high road and follow the life that Christ led as an example. The lack of compassion and love for our fellow human beings in Mike Fabarez's message seems very comparable to the pharisees in the New Testament that Jesus frequently spoke out against. In the end we each have to answer to God individually though so it is nothing but love and the true hope that someday, God will lead Mike in the direction that is most appropriate.
My daughter urged me to listen to your podcast. She and her husband and daughter recently started attending Compass Bible Church and find themselves so fed, convicted, and challenged that they can't wait for church each week. They love and appreciate the teaching and the Lord's Spirit present in the believers.
As my husband and I have listened to the sermons via podcast; my heart magnifies the Lord that our children are amongst your flock. I too am hungry for more of your sermons and thank God for these marvelous podcasts with sermon notes.

Pastor Mike gave excellent instruction on how we followers of Christ need to "hate hypocrisy." We can try and do all the right things...but it is all about the Lord's mercy and not our power, position or works.
