Having exchanged communications with Mr. Dizdar in the past, I can say that he seems to be a fairly intelligent fellow. It’s too bad that he has turned that intelligence to promoting the absolute worst aspects of Christianity - hatred, intolerance, and a belief that demons truly are the cause of physical and mental diseases. I could live with that but his efforts with his podcasts and his continuing (and sometimes successful) efforts to train law-enforcement to deal with the long-discredited Satanic Conspiracy is re-enforcing the delusions of listener demographic with a lot of hatred, a lot of fear, a lot of guns, and not much of a grip on reality.
In religious arguments, one often hears the comment, “What’s the harm?”. In Mr. Dizdar’s case, he actively promotes a belief that people suffering from a variety of mental illnesses (especially multiple personality disorder) are actually the victims of a worldwide satani-military conspiracy. He promotes that they have been possessed by demons then programmed to hide that possession (rather unsuccessfully) as “simple" mental illness. Then, when the signal is given, they will rise up as a millions-strong army of demonically-possessed super-soldiers (the Dark Awakening). If that isn’t an excuse to seriously abuse mentally ill people with exorcisms and torture, then I don’t know what is.
My only hope is that Mr. Dizdar is a grand self-promoter whose success is significantly less than he promotes it to be.
In conclusion, unless you are the type that enjoys hate-filled rants, I wouldn’t bother listening to either of his podcasts. I have enjoyed listening to some Christians speak of the radical beliefs. Mr. Dizdar’s podcasts are not fun, informative, or entertaining.
