the Building Performance Podcast

Reviews For the Building Performance Podcast

Joking aside this is a great podcast with great information. thank you.
I am a newbie to the industry so I am looking for a bit more meat, I find that while the show opens up a lot of topics and brings to light building performance ideas, the instruction or what I can walk away with is actually very minimal. I have listened to over 10 podcast now but find maybe a nugget here or there. Dont get me wrong, I am spending time learning on my own as well, buying the book online too, but was kind of hoping for a bit more instruction on these as opposed to a trip down memory lane on how the industry used to be. I still rated it 4-stars because my expectation is instruction which it is light on but the podcast is called building performance, that is what they talk about.
I first heard you when you were a guest of Bryan Orr's podcast. I have listened to several of your podcasts and subscribed to your YouTube channel. Great information! Thank you.
I've been following this podcast for a few years now - sorry for the late review (Bryan made me do it).... Jokes aside, phenomenal podcast! Thanks Corbett!
I recently started working a MEP counsulting firm. I have been listening to this podcasts for some time now. I get to know a lot of minute details that go into making a MEP project a success. TGood job.
What Corbett lacks in audio/recording equipment, he makes up for with a good variety of interesting building science topics. I always look forward to his discussion with subject matter experts!
This is a very valuable source of information for anyone in the building performance field. Corbett does a great job finding professionals that have unique knowledge that can really help those of us in this field. He also does an amazing job interviewing and creating a high quality podcast. Thanks Corbett, keep up the good work.
Then listen to Corbett and his guests as they talk through, and inform you: what problems occur; what real solutions/processes (and not necessarily products) exist; and how you can implement them.
Good information for those who want to learn about building performance. Technical information, but very easy to listen to and understand.
Each episode has taught me something new. Corbett is a master at presenting complicated building performance concepts in a simple, and compelling, manner. His podcast features the people that are leading the way in implementing and evaluating building performance products and processes.
Less chat and more “I build/install X because Y in region R and that contributes Z in performance of building types B”.
Great podcasts, entertaining and informative. Keep up the good work.
Corbett's podcasts rock! I'm a devoted listener and know that anyone who is serious about home performance will consider his podcasts time well spent. There is information in his podcasts that literally can't be found elsewhere. Hearing industry experts dig into ideas and issues in their own words and voice deepens everyone's connection to the information covered and makes it more fun, interesting and accessible. His ability to get at the story behind the story and a offer listeners perspective, clear understanding and a sense of the connectedness of topics is a huge benefit for his listeners and for the entire industry. Keep up the good work Corbett!
This is a must hear for anyone looking to build or remodel. Every episode is a great jumping off point for something that I hadn't known. Being the greedy type, I would like more, but I'm just happy that the show is still going on. It's been a life-changer for me.
Corbett Lunsford's Building Performance podcasts reflect the direct, engaging and entertaining style of his excellent book (Home Performance Diagnostics). These podcasts provide important and useful information from a wide variety of experts, delivered in neat package that's easy to listen to and absorb. I don't know of any podcasts of even remotely similar technical quality (not to mention entertainment value!) in the Building Science space. If you're interested in buildings, why they behave the way they do, and the tools and techniques used to understand them... you're going to enjoy these podcasts.
This is what I've been looking for. A no nonsense podcast about building green. There is a lot to learn here. Thank you!
Green Dream Group really knows their stuff! They bring in experts who have a lot of hands-on experience, and ask great questions. Only way I think they could improve is to bring in people who know a little less, to educate all of us non-experts from the ground up! Looking forward to the next installment...
