My first ep. was 62, Never Too Old To Be An Architect. I am 25, separating from the military and eager to start my education even though it may mean I will be a student until I am 32. I am so eager I just had to ask Laura a few questions and she was very encouraging in her replies. Will continue listening and enjoying this podcast while I start my journey!
I started listening because we are about two years out from building a home. Ended up binge listening through just about all episodes b/c they are so easy and pleasant to listen to. My favorite episode to date should have been titled “so what’s the deal with college softball players’ hair.”
I have really gone on to enjoy Laura and Larry’s podcast. They work well with one another and they are very professional in their presentation of this podcast! I also enjoy how the podcast are rather brief, which makes for very easy consumption in a rather busy schedule. Keep up the good work guys!
They give a lot of useful information about how to get your foot in the door and use your skills to be successful in the design and architecture world. The chat is fun and informative. You get a good feeling for who they are, and their motivation for doing this project.
I met Larry at the actual Happy Hour event yesterday and have spent the workday today burning through the podcasts. They do a great job describing architecture and design without the ego, but with lots of fun and laughs. Their passion for architecture makes for a great listen and a very informative podcast.
Laura and Larry do a fantastic job of breaking down the complex world of architecture into understandable chunks sprinkled with valuable bits of information that is useful to everyone from the weekend home remodeler to a practicing architect.
Unlike all of the other architecture related podcast, this one is very personable and I feel like I've know the two hosts for years. I really appreciate the casual and thoughtful conversation that doesn't feel like i'm tuning into another lecture series.
