Reviews For Know Direction Network

I used to be a regular listener and even contributor for the show, but ever since Ryan and Perram passed the helm, the show seems to have taken a turn. We don’t seem to get a much as far as pathfinder news and insights anymore. Also the pathfinder content has shifted its focus to social issues over rpg info in my opinion, which I didn’t think was the focus of the podcast. I do still greatly enjoy Digital Divination and their content, just miss when we got comparable discussion of pathfinder.
The reviews and interviews are good, and I love the actual play episodes. I wish there were more of them.
I've been listening to KD for a few years now and got iTunes on my PC just to start rating all of the podcasts that I love. KD is definetly in the top! The news shows (KD:Prime and Know Direction: Beyond) are full of great information for fans of Paizo products and the RPG community writ-large. Their actual plays are getting better as they go, transitioning from a News Organization to an Actual Play team is probably quite a transition!
I've been bingeing on Know Drection's live play podcast, Adventurous, and remembering the good old days when my gaming group lived in the same dorm and could prioritize an hour or two a week to get together and play. Keep having fun, folks!
A very good Pathfinder Podcast. Only criticism is it has a bit of a confusing feed.
I love listening to this podcast during my daily commute. It keeps me up to date on all things Pathfinder. These guys do a great job thoroughly covering what is going on in the world of the Pathfinder RPG. An indispensable resource for those playing Pathfinder. Keep up the great work!
Ever since the new hosts have taken over for Private Sanctuary, there have been terrible audio issues that have plagued every episode. These issues make this podcast unlistenable. Which is a shame as I still really love Know Direction.
Great podcast with great mews and information. My only suggestion is more crunch.
My favorite gaming podcast. Essential for the 3.5 D&D and Pathfinder enthusiast.

5/5

If you like 3.5e D&D or Pathfinder you'll like this podcast. It's good stuff.
Ryan, Jay, and Matt do a great job of keeping the content fresh and funny. They are one of my favorite podcasts. Ryan keep the contect well orginized and in a very presentable matter, that is still fun to hear. If you are into Pathfinder RPG/3.5e this is the one you dont want to miss. The website/forum is a great source of material also and they have never failed to keep up with their fanmail!
A great little Pathfinder podcast with a good variety of other topics thrown in for flavor!
Excellent podcast. I want more of the Know Direction portion now that pathfinder is fully established. (maybe every other?) How about some class feature episodes covering PF archetypes? I've had no problem with the sound quality of any recent episodes. Great work guys!
The Know Direction part of 3.5 Private Sanctuary is a real disappointment. First, the name sounds like No Direction and thats what I feel every time I listen (I know it's for the spell of the same name.) Second, the sound quality is hit or miss. I just can't recommend this podcast to anyone serious about Pathfinder.
This podcast is an awesome source of info on 3.5 and pathfinder. It's well balanced between mechanics and fluff. It's also very entertaining and the hosts really know the system.
You guys are amazing and I have grown dependant on you to help keep my game inspired and original. Don't podfade!
I listen to this almost everyday, and I don't even play 3.5, I DM a 4E game. I still find the information informative, and I believe this is a must listen for anybody playing any edition of any P&P game.
If you love 3.5 or Pathfinder this is THE podcast....just subscribe, you won't regret it. Very informative, especially about upcoming products. Awesome hosts and good sense of humor.
This is pretty close to a one stop shop for 3.5 and PFRPG news, reviews and discussions. If you're looking for a list of the topics covered, look at the podcast list. My personal favorites have been both core and non-core class discussions, product reviews and website reviews. The hosts have gained a lot of respect over the years from the community, so you'll also hear some great game developer interviews. I should also mention that the podcast develops and refines itself between podcast #1 and the current batch, so don't react too harshly to the early days. Personally, I enjoyed those early podcasts, even with a few rough edges. Bonus: Ryan and Jason have an entertaining chemistry. Over time you begin to think of yourself as a friend listening-in while a couple of your buddies chat. That, of course, isn't true (stalker), but it certainly feels that way. Take it from a 3.5 Private Sanctuary addict, this is some good stuff.
