Reviews For The Fire House Chef

Love these podcasts! Ryan does a great job in a hurry! The recipes are delicious and my family loves them. Check it out you'll love it!
Thank you from Baltimore City Fire Department Show help a lot
"Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig" I think TheFirehouseChef COULD teach a pig to sing and the pig would enjoy it.
I have been watching your podcast for a few months now and I am addicted. The recipes you put out are simple, easy to make and are delicious. I cooked your chicken panini pesto chicken for my family and friends one noght and it was a huge hit. Your podcast makes it so easy for me to cook healthy meals for my family. Keep up the great work. Any chance you can come out with a chicken wing recipe or anything for football sundays? Thanks. Jay
Ryan is a talented chef who has taken time to polish his vlog (vidcast) to a level that is both refreshing and fun. He has a slight self-depricating humor, but to the point where he's loveable. He shares many helpful hints along the way. Each video you can get two to three recipes or hints that combine to make one delicious dish. And the appreciation doesn't stop there. He is one of our firemen and a hero to the public. Don't forget to watch all the way through for glimpses into his life and the goofiness that can transpire before edits.
hey love the show…..you bring home cooking to life for people who love simple food with a twist….Even seen from Switzerland the show is great!!!!
I like this podcast a lot, both for the variety and freshness of the recipes and the way he breaks them down so you can easily learn to do it! This one is a winner!
I just started watching this a few days ago and it is truly a great show. Simple recipes, made easy, with a generous helping of practical cooking skills thrown in. I recommend this to everybody.

These videos are awesome! I love your sense of humor, it really keeps it interesting! The recipes are not difficult which is going to make it fairly easy to get the kids involved. Keep up the good work! I can see you going far with this! P. Barron
This is a very informative cooking show with great recipes! Good job on keeping the shows entertaining and educational. I am sure we will see you on "The Next Food Network Star" very soon!
These are ok videos, good for basic information, and a genial style. I have to wonder after watching a couple of them, 1) Why on earth are they so stinking big- several hundred MB for just a few minutes?? I wonder how well his job as a figherfighter pays, since the kitchen and the house seem pretty posh, definitely upscale appliances?
My boys and I love this show especially the deleted scenes! A great show for anyone who wants to venture out of their comfort zone with their culinary skills. Ryan does a great job showing how easy and un-intimidating cooking should be. The multi-camera angles throughout the show keep it interesting. Ryan…Thanks for your podcast! ps: I agree….kitchen power-tools RULE!
This is honestly one of the best cooking podcasts that I have ever seen. The chief shows you how to do everything in the kitchen with much respect to newbies like me. I have learned so much with each epsode. He covers all the basics. Can't wait for more!
the things ryan makes are quick simple and efficient. i am definitely going to be using many of his recipes and methods in my fire house for many many years to come! Ryan's show is ABSOLUTELY a podcast EVERYONE should at least take a look at. great job Ryan! keep it goin! im addicted to your show! and thank you for all the tips, very useful
The Fire House Chef is what amateur cooks (and that's being generous) like me need. It provides helpful tips about various foods and most importantly easy to learn methods/recipes for cooking. Just what the doctor ordered. Worth checking out!

I'm a TV show veteran, ever since watching Martin Yan as a kid and getting excited about cooking in the kitchen. I just previewed Ryan's show about frittas just to check him out and he's great! Ryan makes cooking fun and it shows people that what they can do and that it's not an overwhelming task as many make it out to be. My co-workers have complained, "But I work all day, every day AND I have to cook?" YES! When it can take 30 minutes and be as easy as Ryan shows them! He's got a great sense of humor and whimsy and is a great breath of fresh air in the ktichen. I hope to be able to watch him for a long time to come.

This is a great step by step process and easy to learn cooking techniques. Really recommend it to those that want to expand their knowledge and use different ways to increase your skills.
Very cool.. Never been one for cooking. However, the basic knowledge I have thanks to this show really makes it easier to know what Im looking for in ingregients, and in preparation! thanks!
Very informative and yet basic skill lessons. Also, entertaining. Wish I could read the subscripts more quickly. That is why i didn't give five stars. They are hilarious. Passed on to my friends.
A testimony to skill, passionate & practical communication, and a little iPhone know-how (I heard the entirety of the show is recorded on an iPhone 4), The Fire House Chef breaks down the basics of cooking in an easy-to-understand and fun format. Why is salt important? Why use garlic? How do I keep all of my fingers? All of these questions and more are answered in such a way that even I'm emboldened to get into the kitchen. And the cooking isn't the only thing hot in the kitchen... yowzers!!!
If you like the Food Network and firefighting, then you will love the Fire House Chef. If Alton Brown from Good Eats was a firefighter, this would be his show. I'm not the cook at my firehouse, but even I could make the mashed potatoes featured in the second half of episode three. New and old cooks alike could learn from this podcast. My only complaint is that episode 1 and 2 seem to be missing from iTunes.
I recently started gaining an interest in cooking and "The Fire House Chef" is a perfect way for a beginner like me to learn the basics of cooking. Ryan makes everything so easy to understand that you won't feel overwhelmed in th kitchen. I highly recommend this show.
The Firehouse Chef is an awesome show that breaks down the basics of cooking. He does a great job of dumbing down the secrets of cooking. Not to mention he is easy on the eyes!
If you love watching cooking shows on Food Network, The Cooking Channel, etc, you won't want to miss watching "The Fire House Chef"!! Ryan has the knowledge and camera presence that matches the caliber of any TV chef. It is nice to watch someone who has such a passion for food and cooking. I would recommend this show to anyone!
