All these guys did for the first 10 minutes is talk about themselves. I use to say if you can’t sell you go into marketing, training, or consulting ... I’ll add start a podcast after listening to these guys do nothing but bloviate about themselves.
I’d love if the fluff was cut out. I feel like it’s 5 minutes of genuine information spread out over 20 minutes with slow speaking and redundant stories or drawn out explanations. I listen to at 2x speed. Some good nuggets though
I have learned a ton from these guys....very practical with tools and tips, while also philosophical (offering the 'why' behind their recommendations). THANK YOU, and wishing Steve the best possible health in the year ahead. I'm pulling for you, Steve!

I was really hoping to like and enjoy this podcast, but unfortunately these guys like to talk about their war wounds coaching sales people and consequently talking poorly about them.
Throughout my career in sales, I’ve learned that all salespeople should always have an external sales coach. Get In The Door Podcast has been exactly that for me. Scott and Steve provide advice that covers everything from how to make a cold call, how to be more sophisticated & intentional with the sales process, and how to confront our own hangups that might keep us from succeeding in sales. This podcast is applicable to any sales professional in any industry. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone looking to transform the outcome of every sales opportunity.

This is by far one of the best sales podcast. The discussions are simple and practical. Many other podcast focus on theory and miss out on the applications. Steve and Professor Plum direct each episode to a particular aspect of sales, dissect and direct sales success from there. Five Stars!!!!
Steve and his "professor" guest deliver the kind of straight talk born of people that have walked the talk. No hype, lofty exortations, just ways to think about that snap a tiring veteran back to the task and will enlighten the newbie beyond belief. Whish I had discovered this podcast YEARS ago. I listen to a few podcaasts, but THIS is THE ONE I CANT WAIT to hear the next issue. Only people that have been there and are still there could possibly know what these guys put out on the air. Every podcast full of useful thoughts and markers that help you get back on and stay on track. Steve gives freely of his time take away content and personal attention.

Each of Steve’s podcasts are short to-the-point with actionable steps and just enough theory to understand what’s going on. Sometimes he walks a client through specific sales issues and we get to listen in on what works. Great stuff, keep up the good work.

Steve Does a great job sharing valuable sales insights. This is a very helpful, well-produced podcast full of useful tips and motivation. What's more, it's provided by a true expert who I truly want to listen to. At first, I expected the podcast to be full of sales hype, but then I discovered that Steve is an authentic, easy-going guy who speaks from experience. I have already turned on two friends to this show, and I will be referring others to listen as well. For anyone in sales (and when you think of it, we all have a sales role), if you don't currently have a weekly source for motivation and ideas, take a few minutes to listen to Steve!

I can't say how well it will work for everyone, but I like it. I would recommend that you listen to it. I would say that it is revolutionary, but seeing as how I am not a complete expert in the field I am not sure if it is or not. That being said, I would say listen to it, try it you might just like it.
Steve has been an inspiration to me and my team. I've been in sales 20 years and rarely come across someone with such great character and integrity! Love when he speaks about "the why" and serving others. Great share!
I only trust sales teachers who have gray hair or no hair. It shows me they've been through life and seen more than I have. It means they've been around the block several times. Steve doesn't teach theory, he teaches truth. Theories are educated guesses. Steve teaches educated conclusions. Thanks Steve. Keep shipping.
