James and Michael put together the best gameplay diary podcast anywhere.
Yes, there are some mistakes.
and the show has plenty of spoilers.
But that shouldn't stop you from listening.
Every time I listen to an episode, it makes me want to play more Skyrim.
It looks like this will probably be the last gameplay podcast from these guys.
I was deeply saddened to learn that James has left us...
If you love Skyrim as much as I do, listen to this show.
I love the show and I have listened to every episode, i play as a dark elf, vampire lord, archer. I play on the Xbox and I managed to come across a glitch that allowed me to kill everyone, including quest characters and children, I have used this glitch to kill just about everyone in skyrim besides serana, my two kids and my steward. Keep up the good work!
I tried listening to their first impressions of various DLCs because I was curious what to expect and whether or not to spend my money on them. It seems the folks on this show can't discuss a quest without letting you know how it starts, what happens, and how it ends. Those aren't impressions, they're spoilers.
Thuumcast is a pretty decent listen, no doubt about it, but just be warned that if you want anything to be a surprise when you play the game you probably ought to give this program a pass.
This podcast is the best thing to listen to if you lost internet and downloaded some of these, i even listen to it when im playing skyrim to give me useful info on the way
Hey guys, I'm so glad I discovered your podcast back in Nov. I even went back and listened to all the Fallout podcasts you did, good and entertaining stuff to listen to when I can't actually play! In response to previous user, I like Argonian better for water-breathing ability, and I had a question I wanted the podcast to maybe discuss: What type of character do you think might be more likely suited to be a vampire (warrior? Mage? Sneaky?) and which do you think would be better suited to be a vampire hunter?? Thanks!
Jeff
Alright two animal races Argonians and Khajits I'd like to hear the other people who are rating this podcast's opinions on which is better. I personally like Argonians. Oh, and say what you named your character, by the way good podcast.
I personally will say I'm sorry for the lack of episodes and the dropping off the face of the earth. I know I have a busy life and so do the others. We are planning to do another episode in the near future on TES online and maybe our thoughts on the dlc. I hope you all stay and listen and again sorry from me, Austin (co-host on thuumcast)
Looks like you guys are bailing on the cast... or at least the schedule. Too bad, I really liked the discussion. Like someone else said, I'll give back the 5 star review if you come back with another show. I really hate when podcasts that I like end without a goodbye episode. Bad form.
This podcast is awesome, but it tends to favor PC gamers and will bad mouth consoles every now and again. They also disappeared randomly. The last thing is that they don't keep a regular schedule.
Well I liked this podcast! But if your gonna drop off the face of the planet with no heads up to your fans lame sauce! If u want 4 of your stars back at least do a closing episode
Is it over? Let us know if you plan to continue or not. Episodes used to come out more regularly but have really slowed down to non-existence. I hope you come back.
Over all I have liked the podcast but lately it seems like it is taking a week and a half to put together a half hour show, and the content of a couple of the more recent shows didn't add much to the conversation. I don't know if the people are losing interest or busy with another game.
Changing my review again...
Two episodes in 6+ weeks? Really? Can you please just let us know if you're not going to make any more episodes. I would suggest listening to Skyrim off the record since they set a timeline and stick with it, once a week on Wednesdays. It shows up on I-tunes on thursday. Informative and funny.
That is, when it comes out!! It seems to take longer and longer to make these episodes.
Come out with more episodes or make it monthly! But don't call it a weekly show when it's only every few weeks...
I think you guys are great and I've really enjoyed listening to most episodes - but I could do with a lot less discussion of "modding" and tech talk, and more game-related discussion we can all relate to. I think you could have a wider base of listeners if you stayed focused on the game everyone has, rather than geeking out on mods and the like. Thanks for the great podcast!
I almost have all the stuff I want for my character and am starting to get tired so I was going to stop playing until dlc but then I thought what if I start a character that only uses his/her fist so I made one and it's fun but challenging so recommend that you bring down the difficulty but try it also you can still kill partonacks after the main quest after 3 days come back to the mountain he should be there
I heard the troubles you were having with getting to winterhold.. If you go outside of any town to the stables, you can take a carriage to any of the main cities for 20 or 50 gold. Much easier.
This podcast is cool because it's a bunch of enthusiastic fans talking about their experiences in the game. Particularly good because there is very little off-topic banter. Also, more than once it's been helpful in my own gameplay.
