Sips, Suds, & Smokes

Reviews For Sips, Suds, & Smokes

I love this podcast
I am so happy I stumbled upon this podcast. The “cast” is super knowledgeable, funny, and down to earth. I am a huge whiskey enthusiast, so this is the perfect place for me to get some advice and ideas along with a bit of entertainment. Definitely subscribed!
Stumbled upon this podcast last week and I am thrilled. Sips, Suds & Smokes is an incredible source to keep current with a constantly changing and growing industry and community. The demand for great local beer continues to grow and new breweries are opening up constantly. This podcast is genuine and passionate about the industry and an excellent source to keep informed.
Great podcast! I really love it keep it continue listening..
I get giddy everytime these guys release a new episode, which thankfully is relatively often. I'm a long time listener, first time reviewer.
Really nice podcast
I have listened to and the ones to come will help make things more familiar and easy to catch on to. This Podcast makes learning new info fun and entertaining!
Keep up the great work!
I'm just getting into this show, but I'm really enjoying it so far! It's super laid back and hilarious, and who doesn't love beer, liquor, and great food? A+ for sure.
I thought all beer had to have alcohol to be called beer. Couple buddies drink this crap and now I can make better suggestions. Big thanks as they think I have tasted this stuff. That would have been the Bad Decision. This podcast rocks.
I particularly enjoy the allocated reviews and quick hitting beer reviews. Keep up the good work and cheers. Thanks.
Always happy when I see a new episode is out
Waiting for a new episode is like waiting for Christmas as a kid. It can’t come fast enough!
Loved the Tiki episode and while I tired to make the Dole whip, it was an epic fail. There must be some technique I’m missing. I’ve had a true Painkiller and they are really great when made correct with fresh ingredients. I’ll keep listening and trying to master this. Great podcast.
I keep hearing about this mystery beer festival and noticed this showed up on your list last year as well. Is this like an insider thing as none of my friends in the Seattle area have heard about this festival. It looks like it moves around, so maybe come to Seattle next year. Love Kendall on this show as he cuts to all of the essential elements that I need to know. Dave & Mike, well … they do have their moments as well.
Wow, not like one of those NPRish shows that I actually like. Totally hooked me up to find a whiskey that I enjoy. Ordered at the bar like a boss now. Not a brown water neophyte. Thx.
You really had to go there with a story of a dead rabbit? Love this show and my Mom was laughing at the whole story but really, that’s cruel. I’ll pray for Trixy.
I’m one of the parents that don’t make wide decisions and listened to this show and some others while in my car with my kid. I appreciated all the adult humor but such that my 6yr son can still listen. Thanks from alls the Dads trying to find a decent beer to enjoy.
You had these shorter episodes then they stopped? So I listen to one half of a show on the way to work and the other half back home. Bring back the shorter shows. Tried to find that Timmy ringtone for my brother named Tim. I was laughing so hard.
I see these shows at the top of the charts all the time and think they are some big corporate crap. This is NOT one of those shows. Real people and really entertaining. I even bought one of these Oxbo beers after listening to this episode.
I picked up some Bones Farms and sure enough this stuff is electric blue. “wine” is a loose term. She liked it is all I can say.
I thought all of these beer shows were full of snob and then there ya go talking about my Mickey’s. Yeah it’s cheap and taste like crap to others, but glad some you professionals can still talk about it.
Last time I had this was 1991 and man I really want to forget that entire evening. Somehow we managed to winch a car up into a tree. Dangerous liquid courage. Great episode and funny show.
Such great coverage and discussion of the beer festival in Morganton. I went with some girlfriends and we had such a good time. We love all those fruity beers and this stuff is so much better than all the Bud crap. Hope you come back as I really enjoyed this episode.
I caught some of the posting on instgram and it looks like Mike was in AL. I know he hates the entire state but yet there are photos from Taco Mama in Auburn? Maybe he has come to realize that the superior side of the state. WAR EAGLE!
The Boone’s farm was inspirational that we got 3 bottles and got lit. Next thing I know my buddy is trying to go after my daughter’s hamster saying they are good to eat. There should be a warning label with this stuff to put away all potential road kill or something. Funny as F episode.
I knew that putting lime in a can is a thing with Mexican beer, but should you do the same with a can. It’s really sloppy and you can’t seal your thumb the same way you would a bottle. What’s the proper technique. This is one of my top 3 podcasts and looking forward to something new and different each episode.
I’m from the South and I can tell you this is the worst weed ever. Absolutely one of the funniest bits on a beer show ever. Got me snorting my sweet tea up my nose. Such a great episode.
Just finished the last one of these episodes and they were all hilarious. We even picked up a bottle of Boone’s farm and Jolly Ranchers. Got this taste horrible, but then again, you told us so. Great series.
would anyone listen to this garbage? JUST NHORRIBLE
I’ve managed to catch the Summer of Bad Decisions series and this is a riot. I love the variety of stuff on this podcast and never get bored. Yep, had those Mexican beers that resulted in a moment that shall not be discussed in public. It involved a trash dumpster and some fire. Enough said. Best way to way to waste an hour.

5/5

Where was this show at PM18? OMG such a great example of how an independent can make it in this podcast industry. What is your secret?
I picked up some Bones Farms and sure enough this stuff is electric blue. “wine” is a loose term. She liked it is all I can say.
About time you got to one of the most popular beers in Boston. Night Shift rocks. Bummer you did not review some of the stellar weisse beers. This crew did a stellar job of reviewing the standard beers from NS.
OK. I get that you don’t like sweet stouts but did you have to pick on Funky B. They make great beer. This show is good to great at times, but don’t be hatein on my FB.
Crap, the secret is out on this place now. Glad you loved it but now it’s going to be crowded. Loved all your top picks except the Uinta Lime Pils. Yuck. I have a short list of things to hunt down now.
So one of your cigar co-host is a tow truck driver. OMG I was howling at those stories. The only missing was a stripper pole. More. More.
My British ears just screeched when I heard Mike’s fake British accent and then I found myself howling laughing. Please don’t stop as is it’s so bad, it’s really funny. It’s actually more entertaining than most BBC programs.
Thanks for not just reading the BT info and calling it a review. Awesome details and helped me map out my BTAC chase this year.
This is just another podcast with guys sitting around the table totally convinced that they are the funniest people on the planet and giggle at everything someone says.
200 episode, are any of them more entertaining that this one I listened to? Hilarious and smart.
Made Man? For what? Great scotch show. I’ve never tried this one.
Do I have to listen to this podcast at 2AM? It was really funny at 4pm.
Only show I know where you can fart on the radio/podcast.
Now I can enjoy hot chicken thanks to this episode.
Love the sounds on this episode, so funny. Not just some opinionated chumps on a podcast.
I have found my peeps, beer nerds that belch on the radio.
I got laid because of the products on this podcast!!!
It was a bit slow to start, but after about 20 min, it was awesome. Listened to 5 episodes and counting.
