Because this was recommended on another horror cast that I love I tried to give this one a chance. However Ron Martins insufferable personality wears thin very quickly. I'd compare it to the obnoxious kid in middle school class who tries to show how absolutely hilarious, and clever he is by literally ridiculing anything and everything anyone says, constantly, not realizing how obnoxious he is in reality.
This is a guy who loves to hear himself talk. However rather than talk about horror, which is what the cast is supposed to be about, he spends the majority of his time insulting his female co host. Picking apart and then belittling literally everything she says in a juvenile attempt to be funny. It reminds me of a mean spirited kid picking on their little sister on a long road trip. It's tiresome, and it's actually frustrating because more often than not she is the one who has far more interesting things to say.
I honestly don't even understand why she chooses to be on the show. She seems to be the actual horror fan of the two but she can rarely express any sort of opinion without Ron talking over her to make some tired, obnoxious joke at her expense. She seems to only be there to be ridiculed. She often seems annoyed, tired, and just kind of bored, and I understand 100 percent why. I would be too if I was in her position. In fact I feel that way just listening.
This show could honestly be great if it wasn't for the immaturity. He is one of those types of people who must dominate the conversation, demand to always be the center of attention, and find himself to be far more amusing than anyone else does. He's rude, he's disrespectful to his co host, he is droning, and worst of all he's not funny.
You have turned a show about horror into an hour of dipping someone's pigtails in ink. It's tired man, and its grating
Ron Martin...you are kind of a bore. Try shutting your mouth every now and then and let someone else talk and you may be surprised when you actually learn something.
Oh yeah...and maybe try to talk about horror on occasion yeah?
