YSDC: Lovecraftian Media

Reviews For YSDC: Lovecraftian Media

Really good show, tons of good content.
This Podcast is one of the most informative and entertaining podcast on all things Lovecraft. The only thing I can find wrong with this show is that I find myself wanting more episodes.
The founding podcast of Lovecratian gaming. YSDC has a variety of shows, and I've enjoyed every one of them. The format varies; sometimes Paul is the only voice, but there are commonly co-hosts and the listener begins to feel like their a member of the group. Eclectic, mostly about the Call of Cthulhu role playing game, always Lovecraftian, any CoC player should be listening to this.
It's amazing how far Yog Radio has progressed over the past several years in terms of content and quality. It was largely -- almost entirely -- the audio productions of YSDC that persuaded me to become a patron of the website, and I've never regretted it. Highly amusing, informative and incredibly valuable for players of RPGs in general, and those interested in Lovecraftiana in particular.
Great podcast for news on all things Lovecraftian. Especially like the updates from S.T. Joshi's blog. Intelligent and funny with great production value. If your a fan of Lovecraft or a CoC player, you should already be listening!
Anyone even slightly interested in Lovecraft will love this podcast. It doesn't just go over gaming; it includes movies, literature, and music. Also, anyone interested in gaming MUST listen to "the Pale God" entry. It is how RPGs should be played!
This is hands down the best RPG podcast ever! Entertaing, fun, and full of information. Its a rare gem.
Really, a wonderful podcast, showing the fun and joys of a group of intelligent, witty people coming together to strech their imaginiations with a classic game. Highly recommended.
I love this podcast. It is fun and informative. There are many entertaining interviews. They just recently posted a lecture series on how H.P. Lovecraft has influenced pop culture. Occaisionally they even have audio readings of Lovecraft's short stories. This is not to miss if you love Lovecraft.
Yog Radio is mainly a podcast for Call of Cthulhu role playing enthusiasts. Even though I haven't role-played in over twenty years, I find the show incredibly interesting. Besides the witty hosts' (Paul, Fin, and Neil's) usual banter about all things Lovecraftian, there are great interviews, readings, and all sorts of Lovecraft related news and fun. Also, as an American, I find the British accents and humor very funny as well. If you have any interest at all in Lovecraft or role-playing games, listen to a podcast or two of Yog Radio. It will make your day.
This is a great podcast for fans of horror, H.P. Lovecraft, the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying games, and other spooky and scary concepts. It's well worth checking out the podcast and the website.
I really like Yog radio. It is a great reference, pointing out useful links and interesting tidbits of Lovecraftiana. The hosts have just the right attitude, striving for scary, thrilling games that can sometimes offer a good laugh too. I hope that they will continue for untold aeons. I would like them to eventually include articles that address specific playing tips for Call of Cthulhu, and pointers to really push the RPG envelope. Good Job guys!
