Reviews For A Spoonful of Russian - Learn Russian Online from Russian Tutor

This podcast is one of the best resources for learning the Russian language out there. Natalia is wonderful - she is warm and personable and makes learning fun and stress-free. I have been studying Russian for around one year and have progressed more from a few days of listening to this podcast than I did in months of study with other methods.
Excellent podcast. It is really helpful and very well produced.
This podcast is fantastic. It keeps me interested in learning Russian through Natalia's stories and videos. I love the songs at the end of each podcast as well. Natalia is a wonderful teacher and I hope she continues to produce more podcasts.
I had been listening to your podcast for several years, but then you stop posting content for a while and I lost interest….. but now I'm back!! My wife who speaks native Russian says your podcast is top-notch. Thank you for the hard work and dedication, glad to have you back.
... and the product is really great! The only problem is there is a limited number of episodes, and they have not produced a new version for what? Over a year now? Come back Natalia!

where are the first lessons?
This is a straight forward and well thought out podcast that introduces you to the Russian language, where you “learn Russian one bit at a time”. Mrs. Worthington has been able to developed a clear lesson plan and has also keep the learning experience fun by sprinkling in some humor and culture. If you are looking for an introduction to the Russian language, and some Russian culture, then you have come to the right place.
Quick, simple lessons, provided by a great host. Also incorporating Russian music, this is a great language podcast for anyone interested in learning Russian!
I love listening to your podcast. I have been trying to learn Russian for some time now with the help of my cousin and it has been slow going. With the help of your podcast I have been able to hear the words pronounced instead of just trying to sound them out myself. It really appreciate that you have taken the time out to record these podcasts for those of us who are struggling.
Otherwise, great.
This podcast is great for a quick review, but is on a level that is also good for beginners. Natalia is easy to understand and explains things thoroughly.
Natalia draws one totally into learning Russian, the only thing I'm having trouble with is rolling my r's... but I had trouble with that before.
Natalia nicely done 5+ (bez par)

I just started to listen to this podcast....Russian sounds very intresting! I know I am going to like learning from Natalia. These are such helpful lessons!
This is an extremely good language course that helps with very basic Russian words (for people like me!) I've always been haunted by the "hardness" of the language, but Natalia helps break that stereotype in the first episode. It's simply a really good podcast. Keep it coming Natalia... it's much appreciated!
This podcast is amazing! I'm going on a Missions trip to Russia next spring and need to know a little Russian. I got a sheet of paper of phrases I needed to know they showed me how to pronouce it but i had forgotten by time I got home. About a week later I found this podcast and by the next week I was feeling very confident In greeting people in Russian =D
Fantastic teacher. Caught on really fast. Love this podcast. Thank you Natalia!
I'm shocked to see so many good reviews for this podcast. It's a waste of time. The tiny nugget of language instruction is sandwiched in between several boring minutes of the host droning on about housekeeping details. As a former Russian student in college, I was hoping this would help me revive and keep fresh my Russian skills. But the mini-morsels of info you get here will never do that. Compared to other podcasts that teach, this is an utter failure. I give it an F.
I am homeschooled myself and I enjoy the podcasts very much. Miss Natalia you are a very good teacher and if my Russian ever gets as good as your English I will be ecstatic. You do a great job. Please make some more.
After listening to just four lessons, I just can't wait and have to give this program a five-star. The lessons are very well organized, with interesting and practical materials in each lesson. Also, the lessons are very lively, fun, and easily-comprehensible. This is an excellent program for elementary Russian learners. Listeners would have learned quite a bit about Russian just by listening to these twelve lessons. Even though there are only twelve lessons in this series so far. The future of "A Spoonful of Russian" looks very promising!
Natalia has taken away the fear of learning a whole new alphabet by showing us that with the Russian language, "what you see is what you get." I have been trying to learn Russian for some time, and having a very difficult time of it. I listened to this podcast and learned more in a few days than I learned in the past 6 months using textbooks and software. Natalia has a true teacher spirit.
This is perhaps the doorway to a wonderful new way of learning Russian. I have tried other methods, and I truly want to learn this language, as my heritage is Slavic. I consider Russian as the "mother language". I cannot wait for more episodes. Spasibo bolshoi Natalia!
Now I can learn a language from my own home! Thanks Natalia
A Spoonful of Russian is a great podcast series. It's informative, lively and fun. I can't wait for more of them. Come back soon Natalia!
I've only gotten four episodes so far, but I went from nothing to a few real sentences. Thanks Natalia! (She's a great teacher/host)
Very well put together and produced. An excellent free resource and a way to start learning Russian.
