I absolutely love national community church! But the hope we have in Christ is showing through there messages each and every week. The messages are point on with how we should live our lives serving/loving the Lord and serving/loving others. My only critique, as it would be helpful if the message series were titled with the series names not just the message name. I found myself often wanting to share something with a friend and I have to go back and figure out the dates and share that way.
I’m really enjoying the journey that this series is taking me on. Some churches don’t want to tackle the issues like NCC, mainly because they are the angry people.
I love being a part of NCC and I really appreciate this podcast. It's so great to be able to catch up on the week's sermon if I was out of town, especially when it's recorded with such professional quality. Great job, NCCers!
NCC offers the most down to earth messages - which are profound, insightful and very thought provoking. Their messages can be deep, but I can assure you, won't feel condemned or judged, which I love!!
The best thing is, if you feel led to apply something from the message to your life, they provide such a simple and realistic methods :)
Within 1 month, from clear across to El Paso,TX, in what appeared to be by chance, I came across Batterson 3 times.
1) purchased Wild Goose Chase as part of my daughters reading list for MC-USA
2) was suggested to follow on Twitter
3) while on vacation in DC and looking for a church to visit, found a service was starting, within the hour, 2 blocks away at a coffee shop.
Very grateful this podcast keeps me connected to a new found branch of my "family tree" I was meant to find!
Wow! What a podcast. I eagerly await the posting each week. The teaching brings the Bible alive in to me. It challenges me to step out into a deeper relationship with Christ and with my community. Can't wait to hear more. Teaching you can apply to your home church as well.
