Reviews For Player/Missile

Just heard the latest podcast and details on new format that will be more technical. I think that’s great! While it’s nice to hear about how to play or win at a game, it’s even better to hear how the game does what it does in the Atari. Rob, this is a great idea and I look forward to your continued podcast whenever you are up and running again.
I don't have a lot of experiences with the Atari 800, but I enjoy hearing about it. Rob does a great job of bringing that era to life for me. If you had an Atari 800 back in the 80s and loved playing the games, check out this great podcast!

As an Atari bit computer lover, I adore this podcast. I love the conceit of moving forward in time one month per episode, and finding out what;’s happening in all of the Atari computer magazines that month. There’s the perfect amount of digression into non-Atari topics, because of course Atari didn’t operate in a bubble. Fun game reviews, too. Yay Atari.
I heard about this podcast on the antic podcast. I have really enjoyed the magazine coverage. This is a great 8 bit Atari podcast and should not be overlooked. Thanks for the hard work and excellence in podcasting! I'm glad you chose podcasting as an outlet instead of toast masters.
This podcast offers a unique trip down memory lane for the Atari 8-bit computers. It reviews the Atari coverage in magazines of late ‘70s and early ‘80s, and the games published for the system. The magazines of that period were special in a way that would never fly today, with type-in games and apps along with absurdly detailed technical descriptions of how they worked. This podcast brings those old magazines and games alive once again.
Coverage of the magazine was good, and coverage of Star Raiders was even better. Look forward to more.
