Very helpful,especially "emotional avalanche".
Practical advice for managing you emotions in the real world.
Love it that this show focuses on TAKING ACTION. Great episode on failure and how to use it as a tool for personal growth. Looking forward to checking out more.
I think Karren's series is excellent. Far too often, we spend time telling ourselves stories about what our feelings mean about US as people or even more time asking ourselves WHY we feel a certain way. Karren cuts to the chase here by both broadening the context to include the idea that feelings are simply adjectives - not nouns - and by stating the fact that they pass. In my opinion, these are two simple concepts that enable us to gain the kind of self mastery that leads to much more success in relationships and a higher level of self awareness and self esteem.
I will carry the story of WD 40 forever! Really, 40 tries to get it right? I tend to complain if I can't get it the first time.... Thank you for giving me inspiration...and more patience with myself.
Karren has done a wonderful job condensing a lot of psychological theory regarding self-help into these brief and informative podcasts.
Karren's content is always practical and useful - for both yourself and your relationships with others. Just like listening to your neighbor across the backyard fence - only this neighbor happens to be really insightful and helpful!
There are only five episode here but each one is full of useful information that I have applied daily. Karren's book "The Tool Box: Building Better Relationships with Teen" is a great book and I am looking forward to more from this podcast. In the last two episodes I've gotten great tips on how to grow my emotional vocabulary to help with my communication. It's great info! Thank you Karren!
I like the fact that this podcast is concise and helpful advice in very understandable terms. Well worth subscribing to.
I consider myself very fortunate that I was able to find this podcast. I have been listening to it for the last few days in the car, and I am looking forward to additional episodes. Karren provides some great advice which I have already been able to use to help me through my day. I have always thought about taking action to change certain aspects in my life that I know I could improve upon, but never really took much action to do anything about it. I really feel as though this advice could change all that and help me move on to taking action and getting myself to where I want to be! 5 stars!
So easy to take in. Karen has broken down a lot of info into small bites. Changing your behavior is harder than it sounds and can be very overwhelming. These podcasts help you take things one step at a time so that change feels feasible. Very helpful, very hopeful.
As a new mom to infant twins I experience a broad spectrum of emotions on a daily basis. These strategies to define and handle my feelings will be so helpful in my goal to becoming the best wife and mommy I can be. Thank you for your relatable anecdotes, easy to remember acronyms, and formulas! They will definitely come in handy when trying to keep my cool.
Karren did a great job breaking things down in small bites and reminding us to think before we react. Now all I have to do is practice, practice and practice. 2015 here I come!
She seems like a very smart lady, who knows what she is doing- but is still very accessible and easy to connect with. As a teenager, I would totally not flip out if my parents used this stuff.
I love the format of this podcast in which it takes on one subject at a time. The host Karen does a great job of communicating with the listener and gives information that can be implemented right away. I've listened to every episode and each point she makes come up seem to relate to many of the challenges I face with my emotions. I'm not an angry person, but the episode on how to use anger is spot on. She's a pro and were all gonna benefit greatly from this podcast.
I love this podcast. Karren gives us real world strategies and skills that we can use to increase happiness in our life. Take a few minutes and improve your life today.
Listening to Karren Garrity’s “Master Your Feelings Master Your Life” is like being led along a difficult trail by a trusted guide. She helps you identify the obstacles along the way and gives you the tools you need to arrive at a clearing in your mind. Useful at any age!
These podcasts are effective in helping me focus on small bite sized challenges. I have the habit of trying to figure out all the angles or elements of a situation and usually get muddled results. Itis nice to be reminded that all issues start with small components and breaking them down to tackle is a critical strategy. Useful!
Wonderful, insight..
These are easily do-able bite-size solutions to life's most insidious problems. I love Garrity's fresh takes on stuff that affects everyone, like how anger is a good thing! I will definitely keep tuning in...

Came across more practical wisdom in this 3.5 minute podcast than any hour-long mindfulness lecture I've heard.
Karren knows what she's talking about-I found myself drawn in by her story in Episode 2 about the cable providers! She has good reminders for those who struggle with emotions. Recommended!!
Great and quick ideas that are applicable to any situation. I’m going to subscribe!
Love it. Karren creates a clear path through the seemingly complex terrain of emotions.
I truly enjoy these short pearls of wisdom. Often we overlook the obvious. Karren helps bring the details of our lives back into perspective. It’s almost magical.
Wow. Waiting for more!

I learned new vocabulary to express myself. Thanks!
Love the daily dose idea. Small bite-size thoughtful pieces, with very practical ideas.
It is a pleasure to listen to a podcast that contains a clear take home point, a practical pointer and is under 5 minutes. In the first podcast, she reminds us not to be define ourselves by our feelings. Feelings are adjectives not nouns and hence will change. In a similar manner, the other podcasts contain very useful suggestions. And the brevity of the podcasts is a real joy. Don't be surprised if find yourself reaching for a pen to take some notes.
These are short gems.....please may I have some more?!
Really enjoyed this - can't wait to practice some of these tips on my burgeoning teenager!
