I was recommended this podcast to catch up on movies. I have to say the hosts are oddly charming even though there are so many tangents and weird references that I can’t help but listen. You may not agree with their assessment on all the movies but at least they’re trying to provide a different take on classic movies to see if they still hold up to today’s standards. Go listen now.
Excellent podcast, can't recommend it enough! Having missed out on a ton of these movies myself, this is a perfect fit. Even if I had seen the film they're reviewing, it's always interesting to hear the most cutting-edge perspective on some of cinema's alleged classics. The tangents aren't always, technically speaking, productive, but they're wildly entertaining. Definitely give it a listen!
Dev complains a tad too much, but it’s a really great podcast and the best movie related one I’ve found (though to be fair I haven’t discovered many.) It’s perfect to hear people talk about your favorite movie or to push you to watch a new one just to hear their episode on it. Be prepared to hear about capitalism, racism, and art through adversary.
These guys really work well together. Funny and insightful, sometimes crazy. You can watch the movies with them, but you don't have to to get the laughs. They need to make the drinking game happen. CAPITALISM!
These guys really gel together & have a good vibe. They also seem to have an interesting and unique viewpoint about the films they’re watching/reviewing/BSing about. It’s hard to believe that they can find something interesting, and funny about some of these movies that have been around for so long and talked about so much. I definitely chuckle along and at times laugh out loud. Great job!
