Movie fights was produced by a company called Defy Media and late 2018 they had to shut down because they were stealing money from there shows. So anything that Defy was working with had to close cause they were not going to make any money at all.
This used to be one of the shows I looked forward to most every week back when they were still releasing episodes. I’ve been a listener since the beginning and I pretty much only listen to the podcast version either at work or in the car. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and hope they’re working on a fix, but for right now it’s a low rating from me until they start uploading again. I do miss elements of the old show as well. The event that happened is absolutely horrible, but it does feel that the show has changed since it happened. It’s more political now and the fights seem less agressive. I do wish we could hear the old episodes as well, as I like to hear re-runs of some of my favorite past fights and fighters. I don’t understand why the old ones keep disappearing. Nonetheless even with these critiques I miss hearing the show!!! Happy to change my rating with some small changes!
They hardly ever update their show on here anymore! They do the show weekly, but only upload about 1 a month now. Are we being punished for wanting to listen while driving?
Hey, I absolutely love Movie Fights. Just wondering, why did you all stop uploading the episodes in podcast form? Keep up all the great work. Hoot Hoot!
Love this show! Battling over movies is what my friends and I do and all the time and this is just a whole new level of that! I love that they have a fact checker and take up really new and great classic subject and creative idea of what could be!
It actually inspired my friend Tony and I to creat Tony The Movie Guy Podcast eight months ago. I listened to this and said, "why aren't we doing our own podcast?!". We don't do fights of course, but reviews and deep dives and have fun guests on about different indistry subjects. Thanks to movie fights for being awesome!

Tony The Movie Guy Podcast
This used to be my favorite podcast. I would look forward to listening every week. After the unfortunate event that happened with the original host Andy Signore, it hasn’t been the same. I don’t enjoy the new format, it doesn’t seem like they are able to get some of the guests they used to get (ie kevin smith, Seth rogan, Nick Mundy, etc.). Just super disappointing cause this was once a great show.
Great conent but updates to this feed have become increasingly sporadic and annoyingly inconsistent, especially since the show itself tapes consistently at the same time each week.
My 10 year old daughter has pointed out one to many times the judges apologize when awarding a point to a female contestant. She hates this show and today even the female judge Daniel (?)apologized for awarding the female the point. Just have male guest....... whooo after the men had ridiculous answers the chick was given the award with only one apology. Byeeeeee byee.
Tons of great and fun things about this podcast but the hosting is not always the best and quality of guests from episode to episode ranges quite a bit
In light of recent revelations regarding Andy, I am unsubscribing from Screen Junkies. Seems HR didn't what they should for way too long and still need to properly apologize for how poorly they handled it.
As a self-proclaimed geek with very strong opinions regarding pop culture, I love listening to movie fights. It is always entertaining, funny, and often informational as the competitors display an incredible arsenal of knowledge, creativity, and passion.
If you haven't heard this podcast, you really need to! One of the most fun and entertaining shows out there where movies and movie-related topics are debated and some amazing guests often appear! I wait for it every week! The host, fact checker, regulars, guest hosts and new guests make up a fun and often intense or hilarious show. I listen in the car and find myself yelling at my phone whether I agree with a choice or not. Check them out!
Been listening to these guys for about a year now and so happy I discovered Movie Fights. The show is super entertaining and full of movie loving individuals. Everyone should definetely give it a shot. Check it out live on Screen Junkies Plus on Thurday nights or on YouTube on Saturdays
Thanks for the weekly entertainment. It is a good podcast,/show to laugh and get angry just like if you were discussing movie with your friends. Look forward to the next show everytime. keep up the good work.
I usually watch on Youtube, but I love that they offer a podcast format so I can listen at work. The screen junkies and all of their guests clearly have a passion for movies and as a movie fan I love seeing that passion come out in fighting form.
This was the absolute worst episode of ANY podcast I've ever heard! I get it, you guys had fun, but the rest of us were annoying at constant laughter and disgusting burping! Awful idea! Ruined episode!
I used to love the show, then it got big. The show is now a bit of a charlie foxtrot. Mundy being gone hurts, Max Landis hurts, the plugs hurt, but it's still great otherwise. I just can't say it's great anymore. It is still worth the time, but could be and used to be better.
In one sentence, movie fights is a show where 3 movie lovers are pitted against each other in a dueling ground(recording studio) and forced to FIGHT!!!
Okay, I love podcasts, and this one is no exception. Don't get me wrong, this podcast is pretty well done. But my biggest problem with it is the run time. They range from one hour and a half to two and a half hours. Ain't nobody got time for dat. I wish it was about 30-45 minutes. That would be ideal, Or possibly as much as 60 minutes. And it should still be only once a week because I want to listen to it, but like I said, ain't nobody got time for dat. Until this podcasts become shorter or somthin' I am going back to listening to Josh a Chuckers in 'Stuff You Should Know'
MAKE DEM SHORTER PLEASE
Absolutely love this podcast. And the YouTube channel. I look forward to every Sunday when it drops! Even if you aren't a movie need you can still have a great time listening. Absolutely love you guys! #Botanicus!!!!
I have never written a review on iTunes before, but this show surely deserves 5 stars. This is the only podcast I subscribe to, I think. Apple, please pay Screen Junkies $715,000,000,000 so they can continue making this fantastic segment.
Andy signore, thank you for Honest Trailers. That said, you exercise poor and biased judgment on movie fights. You frequently misunderstand your own questions and select a winner based on that confusion. Please hand the reins over and become a fighter instead, the show would be much better.
The debate where Spider-Man won over Iron Man was very inaccurate & I have no idea how Spider-Man would stand a chance VS Iron Man when most of the reasons behind why he would win were circumstantial, i mean the idea brought up of Spider-Man using his webs to help conduct electricity to Tonys suit via power lines is laughable. Tony took a lightningbolt from Thor. And if Spiderman gets prep time over tony then it should go both ways and guess what Tony has shield at his disposal for intel!
I absolutely love this podcast and its YouTube version, for those that prefer the eye candy that is its regular contributors. They engage in often hilarious, always compelling debates on the same movie topics I'd be partaking during a round of drinks with my friends. Great cast and production value. This is quite simply mental crack and my weekly obsession.
The first few fights I listened to were pretty good, until I noticed the judging of the winners has no rime or reason. The host just votes for who he likes the most or the biggest star who happens to be on the show. The host loves riding that Dan guys penîs.
