Airport (1970)

Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and Thrasher discuss Airport, the first of four 1970s films based on the book by Arthur Hailey. Stars Jacqueline Bisset, Helen Hayes, Burt Lancaster and Dean Martin. A disaster movie in the skies, Airport is a bit stiff compared to later entries in the series. The late 1960s fashions are fun to look at, as is the lax airport security by modern standards.
